Have you already heard Jasper Hoiby and "his" band Phronesis? Really great piano-trio, i think. Jasper plays a strong, powerful but sensitive and melodic bass, and the whole trio is a real band.....and plays wonderful music.... What is your opinion, anybody,who saw them in a concert?

i´m an a and here is my way to jazz: Cream - Blood, Sweat & Tears - Chicago - Colosseum - Volker Kriegel (Missing Link) - Dave Pike Set - Don ´Sugar Cane´ Harris - Violin Summit - The German All Stars - Joachim Kühn - Hans Koller Free Sound - Archie Shepp (live at Donaueschingen) - Sun Ra (live at Donaueschingen - Globe Unity Orchestra/Peter Brötzmann/Paul Lovens/Alex Schlippenbach.....and than nothing else could astonish and frighten me ;-)

..just i`ve been to a concert of susan mckeown and lorin sklamberg- and i would like to strongly recommend their release-tour, that has just started, fantasic voice and singing, wonderful songs (track 5 - prayer for the dead!!!), and they also present some songs of their grammy-cd "wonder wheel" with lyrics by woody guthrie.... her alto voice and the tenor of lorin are wonderful kind regards.....
