  1. I had an episode with GLS last year. These guys almost made me throw a brick into their office (they got their act together in the last minute).
  2. I second that. Well put, couw - as always.
  3. Re Shaw/Kirk - from George Bonifacio's Bright Moments Group: 1974 2 weeks at Todd Barkan's Keystone Korner in San Francisco, CA..Woody Shaw sits in on 2/21 Maybe the photo was taken at that occasion, maybe not.

  6. HA! I have all those Kip Hanrahan LPs and recognized not even one song. I'm going to get the albums #7 and #14 are taken from. Ribot on #14 is a big surpise, Kenny Wolleson can play vibes too!? I like these guys very much. Thanks for your efforts, Arm!
  7. You guys are sick and you know it.
  8. the king cheated the second time around. just to prove to rocky boy that if he take it outside and I chose photoshop for weapons, he's a goner. I don't think so. Ever dealt with a Corel 8 guy? I guess not. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to post!
  9. What exactly is a Malachi crunch? I searched the web and found lyrics. Did you get that rush, that feeling, adrenalin pumping through your veins? A lifeless body in the gutter, city streets are stained How do you rationalize, what do you see in your reflection? A kid just having fun, A soldiers bloodied boot impression One for all and all for one, especially when it's ten on one You don't care what you're doing, you know it sure is fun If it happened to your mother would you laugh so hard? Well, that was someones son or brother That you kicked so hard This time you went too far What's the matter, don't you feel alright? Do you feel remorse? Or are the handcuffs on a little too tight? Now that your friends are gone, you've got no defense, no protection 5 or 6 times a day you receive your hot beef injection I hope every time you're cornholed terror fills your mind The one emotion you have inspired one too many times.
  10. Exactly! Yes, I am jealous of your image editing skills. Can we take it outside now?
  11. Nice photoshop job.
  12. Send cash in a registered letter.
  13. Do you think they would have published this bullshit if she died while watching "The Wizard Of Oz"?
  14. Thanks for the info. It's great that one forgets what has already been acquired.
  15. Woman dies watching 'Passion' - this is total bullshit. I can't believe it. How do they know that the film caused the heart attack?! Unbelievable. It's great that they published this bullshit even before the autopsy.
  16. I don't think so. http://www.swr.de/swr2/ How about setting up a tree to provide those interested with a copy?
  17. 804.7 Very nice game.
  18. hey weren't you gonna trade me a copy of that money jungle disk? So you want to take it outside. Let's be serious for a moment. Can someone explain to me what this Aric E./Money Jungle episode was all about? This seems to be a true classic.
  19. I prefer stealing discs from Amazon (via internet with a masked IP address).
  20. Addition re Shorter: If I'm not mistaken, around the time Coltrane left Davis' band, Wayne Shorter called Davis upon Coltrane's recommending him. Would he have hired Shorter if Coltrane hadn't recommended him? Maybe.
  21. Well, in my case it's obviously lack of knowing. I'm listening to #7 as I type.
  22. What was THAT? Cheers! That's Joachim Ernst Berendt's commentary on Monk lying in bed ordering chicken while the band was already rehearsing at the Berlin Philharmonic (taken from a "Jazz gehört und gesehen" episode). I find Berendt's comments always to be very enjoyable.
