  1. I remember that you mentioned the album which this tune is taken from a while ago.
  2. I didn't receive your email. Please re-send or send private message with your address.
  3. wesbed, next time you're at that store, rob it and you're even.
  4. Which bass is being played here? A hollow body? Piezos? Honestly, I didn't notice anything special about the sound, thought it's Reggie Washington with a 4 string Fender Jazz.
  5. I went to hear/see him last evening. Would be interested to hear what you've to say, P.L.M.
  6. If you read the webpage, it was never ment to be released. In a statement, Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide said the unapproved and unofficial video clip was leaked April 1 and transmitted by e-mail around the world. The company said the ad wasn't sanctioned by Ogilvy or Ford. “Both companies find this unofficial advertisement totally unacceptable and reprehensible,” the statement said. “The action in the video clip was totally computer-generated, and we would like to assure you that no animal was harmed in its making.” I believe both Ford and Ogilvy were fully aware what they're doing to create this stir and don't buy into the story that these clips are unapproved and unofficial. What Chrome said re "outragous ads to create brand awareness." edit: grammar.
  7. Why should Ford not keep this agency? That clip reached a whole lot of people all over the world (no matter how many have something against it). Like couw said: mission accomplished. I'm not sure what you mean with "the commercial never made it to any market."
  8. CD signed by Josh Roseman (and Joey Baron): "Happy snurfings in the grooves, o liquid man." Don't even remember that I bought it from him that night, but I'm glad to have it. Very nice recording.
  9. Now, THAT's something. It made me think of Dolphy and made me feel sad and it turns out to be a Dolphy Memorial track. Talk about good writing & playing! Up there with I remember Clifford somewhere I should guess. -
  10. Yeah, I bet Patrick O'Hearn was amongst those many bass players who were influenced by JP's output. Thanks a lot for your comments, couw.
  11. http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&u...l=Azdevadoku8wn Check out the samples. A couple of very nice songs on this disc.
  12. The arm has identified #12, though he didn't post a link.
  13. Mr. Belmondo, is that you? it's a tip; that one went fine didn't it? Now all you need is a woman to play the pregnant one Can you ask your postwoman next time you see her? Thanks.
  14. I was being serious. Unfortunately, people like couw always (ok, most of the time) go off on a tangent.
  15. Ah yes, these are the proper expressions for those items which would have saved me two minutes that I could have spent in the stupid questions thread.
  16. Don't you think this question deserves an own thread? nah, not sure. waddayouthink? shall I start a poll about it? Yes!
  17. Don't you think this question deserves an own thread?
  18. Looks like this is so? Yes.
