  3. Piss on a post. You know, Master Nessa, I'm starting to note a certain "theme" in your postings recently....... What's a "theme"?

  5. Thread idea: "What music did you buy today that will probably disappoint your expectations?"
  6. Received an advance copy before release and was delighted. I admit it was largely because it was a new Ornette, but it took me a month to calm down. Ornette's sound is wonderful and that's what I focused on. Denny seemed to inspire OC, so it worked for me. When I listen now I can't erase the old impressions. havent heard it for awhile. i must revisit. Yes, revisit your old impressions. Enjoy!
  7. Piss on a post. Ambiguous advice error

  10. Hey, check it out, they're using my title!!! I'm gonna sue Vincent Walburn for royalties! Um, this may push the release date back a bit....
  11. Not necessarily. Think of SACD as a placebo...
  12. Thanks to Gallo's "Brown Bunny" I found out about blow jobs and Curson's album "Tears for Dolphy". Thank you for the music, Vincent Gallo!
  13. I watched the Shadows & Light video today. 50% of that line-up are already dead.

  15. The "rip dvd vobs to hard-disk and convert to avi" is easier and doesn't take as much time as capturing analog video (I use a capture card for VHS-sources).
  16. No, I don't youtube. Max file size for DVD Video = 1GB -> it's possible that the video you'd like to share is spread over more than one VOB file ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vob ). Then there's youtube's 10-minute length limit, etc. My advice: rip your DVD's content (assuming you're talking about Video-DVD) to hard-disk (programs: dvddecrypter, dvdshrink, ...), convert those VOBs to AVI (program: dvd2avi), edit the AVI(s) (set start/end, resize, append AVI, etc.; program: virtualdub) and save. Now convert to target format (mpeg4, flv?) with this converter: http://www.effectmatrix.com/total-video-converter/index.htm. According to youtube 320x240 would be best: Enjoy. P.S.: Most or all programs mentioned in this post are freeware. I assume you're using MS Windows.
