I just bought this box set yesterday at Borders. I have all the earlier Miles box sets too and I enjoy them all. The clerk at Borders told me that no further Miles box sets are planned. Is that right?

I left a cd on the back seat on a hot 95+ day and it warped and was unplayable. The cd was shaded but the car was locked with the windows closed and in the sun and the inside temperature was 150+.

I read that Pat Martino had a stroke and had to learn to play guitar all over again as an older adult. That would really be quite something to do.

I have around 30 RVGS and I got everyone at Towers and I never had a problem finding them. I have also seen every other one there at some time.

I gave up on buying a sacd player and bought a dvd recorder instead. But all the help I got on this board about sacd is appreciated.

I went back to Best Buy this morning and based on what Claude told me I knew more than the clerk did. They should just make it self-serve and save money which they could pass on to the customer.

I'm a real novice regarding this stuff so bear with me. I was looking at a sacd player and it said it was multichannel. I only have a 2 speaker stereo system. Does that mean that mutichannel sacds will play back as 2 channel stereo? The clerk at Best Buy who seemed to be a high school student said it wouldn't play back at all but that didn't seem right to me.

I only had the first cd release from around 1988 and this new RVG is a huge improvement.

About 4 years ago they special ordered a CD from Japan for me. It took about 6 months but I did get the cd. I thought 6 months was unreasonable after I found out I could have gotten the same cd from Towers in about 2 weeks.

I remember this from a couple of years ago. Does this apply to other recordings besides those of Van Gelder?

I found a new box of the Columbia Miles Davis - John Coltrane Sessions for $4.98 at a Fye. The scanner can't be wrong. The girl at the cash with the earring through her head never said anything and I never asked.
