  1. I also went with the MBB however I'd proably list the Either/Orchestra as choice 1a
  2. That always was my fave section of the Sunday Times.
  3. This LP is actually downloadable as MP3s. They can be found here: http://home.flash.net/~jronsen/cagelinks.html Look for item 29 in the sound files section.
  4. You won't be disappointed
  5. Someone should jump on Impact.
  6. By far the worse summer job I've ever had was selling vacuums door-to-door while in college. Did not enjoy having doors slammed in my face (not that I blame them it retrospect). One time managed to rip all the skin off the knuckles of one of my hands while demonstrating how the power nozzle would automatically shut off if something got clogged in there. Obviously didn't work real well.
  7. I semi-collect baseball memorabilia. Just added a 1966 all star pin to my small collection. Have some old programs, autographed baseballs and photos, etc. Prize of collection is a program of the opening day of Yankee Stadium from around 1924 (along with a ticket) which I inherited from my grandfather.
  8. Trane
  9. For what it's worth, AMG does not list a CD issue of it, only LP.
  10. Garrett (agree about his recent albums) and Osby
  11. James Carter Also a big Seamus Blake fan.
  12. Thanks for the link. With that and a lot of help from Couw, I have my own audio copy.
  13. Give it a try Lon. Have I ever steered you wrong?
  14. One of my all-time fave movies. Will have to pick up the deluxe edition if it's that much improved. I recall thinking when I read the King book "Different Seasons" (4 short novels, 3 of which have been made into movies) that this story would make a great movie. Nice to be right on occasion.
  15. How do you record it?
  16. Me three! Hope to catch 'em live sometime. Their version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is a killer. NPR featured them in a show which can be found at the following link: http://www.npr.org/programs/asc/archives/live050503/
  17. I got email from Marty. He's fine.
  18. My folks live fairly near Marty and got power back last night.
  19. Either Moncur's "Some Other Stuff" or Tapcott/Carter "West Coast Hot".
  20. Me too. Have bought many a CD based on their reviews, especially after buying volume 1 so many years ago.
  21. My man Horace, as I'm sure you know.
  22. Power back in the West Palm area. A few more trees down but no house damage again. Sure was a loud 6 hours. Marty/Dan-How'd it go for you?
