  1. Yes really a good one. There is one more in that row.
  2. Have this one which is in that jazz-rock direction.
  3. Not every "unofficial" recording is illegal. Taping radio broadcasts is widely common and allowed in Germany by the radiostations. They provide even a special free software for your PC (a radiorecorder) to record the broadcasts means for private use and private trading. Burning up to 5 CD-R is allowed. This is also free and costless promotion for the artists to trade such Items. The artists playing at a radiostations here are payed from the station. We listeners pay a monthly fee to the government. So no "robbing the artist" is happening here und my county. Think about that.
  4. Have it and like it too! Only it was not my first Konitz recording. ;-]]
  5. Appears as mentioned above on Prestige # PR 7827 " Ezz-thetic!" [Prestige Historical Series] and on Prestige/New Jazz # 8295 "Ezz-Thetic" but with a different content of the rest of both LP's. Here arer the scans from the backside of both LP's a) Prestige PR 7827 b) Prestige/New Jazz 8295
  6. The Al Cohn album was also issued on Biograph Records BLP -12063 in 1979 under the title "Bee Loose". The CD contains an additional track "Them There Eyes" The Zoot Sims " Modern Art" CD contains 2 additional tracks previously unissued. The Dawn LP " Zoot Sims Goes To Jazzville" was issued originally with 8 tracks. The CD reissue from FSR contains 6 additional tracks. Two of them com from the Dawn LP "Tenors anyone?" and 4 more were previously unissued. Can also recommend this LP on Pumpkin Productions Stereo 108

  13. Re Cedar Walton LP ----> Lords has all tracks listed for that Camden-CD. Cannot prove it because I have oly the LP with a total of 6 tracks. My Lord disc has also mentioned 3 tracks [out of 6 LP tracks] for the "32 Jazz" CD. Thats all i have documented here.
  14. Acc. to Tom Lord this LP was recorded in April 1974 Muse MR 5059 (have it) and reissued on CD Camden De-Luxe 910742. Correct is also the reissue of parts on the "32 Jazz" CD # 32217
