I am having the same trouble at times with my 80GB ipod. It happens just in the begining of songs, like the first 1-4 seconds. It will skip or dropout for a split second and then be fine for the rest of that song. Can I fix this some way? I always play my ipod on shuffle.

OK guy's I am new here and need some advice on vinyl. I have been away from vinyl since the late 70's. So what I need now is an education in vinyl the speed course. Such as what are reissues, MFSL 180 grain vs. any other grain, where to buy good vinyl and so on. Also what are the best pressings? Where do they come from can I get any and what not. Re.
