  1. A lot of LP sequencing front loads the really good stuff on the first side. Or is set up in such a way that each side is complete in itself. Either way, listening to the record uninterrupted on a CD is a different experience, and quite often not a better one. Filles doesn't suffer from this, it's one perfect flow from start to finish, like a classical work of unified multiple movements. YMMV, of course.
  2. Filles is a masterfully unified presentation imo. Even though it's two bands. One of the relatively few LPs that isn't harmed by going from two sides to one. It's actually enhanced. And still one of imo best Tony Williams amazements on record.

It is. Snips are ok, wholesale pasting of entire articles are not.
  4. A fundraiser for yourself? Is that a "fundraiser" or just a business? Or is this place a true non-profit?

  7. Looks like the two James Moody Muse LPs are still cheap. They are arguable Moody's finest work. Carpe diem! https://www.discogs.com/master/661214-James-Moody-Never-Again https://www.discogs.com/master/593206-James-Moody-Feelin-It-Together

  12. I found it interesting that Beaver Harris was not, uncommonly with Sonny in the 60s.
