The owner, Mike is a rather interesting character and not shy about speaking his mind. On several occasions he’s slammed The Electric Recording Company. He was also the one that raised the whole Mobile Fidelity digital issue.

Yesterday, I received an email, apparently from PayPal, that I was being charged $747 for some appliance. I presumed it was fraudulent but I logged onto my account to make sure. Someone indeed had sent me an invoice for that amount but PayPal immediately flagged it as spam and canceled it. I called to make sure and they confirmed that no funds had been paid.

The In Groove has a rather active YouTube channel. This is his most recent video, so you can find his other ones.

Never had an issue with PayPal and if I have a question about something they’re very responsive.

Unfortunately, the pitching matchup favors the Marlins but the Mets generally seem to have the Marlins number this year. I saw the incident. Growing up overseas I saw that term being used but in a friendly, kidding way between friends. However, if you use it in anger you’re asking for trouble.

Mets helped out a little today but unfortunately Braves beat Cubs again.

RIP. His feats against the Reds are legendary (watched it on TV while I was in college).

I caught part of the game last night since the Mets game was rained out and was pretty shocked. I’m going to the Mets Marlins games (DH) today so hopefully the Mets can do their bit to help the Cubs.

Z2 Comics has made two graphic novels, Charlie Parker - Chasin’ the Bird, which I think was made with The Parker Estate and UMG; and Enter the Blue, about Blue Note, which was made with BN.
