    Carlos Ward and his quartet performed at the Gรถttingen Jazz Festival on November 9, 1996, at midnight. After the gig, he wanted to stay at the theater, but his tour manager insisted to take him back to the hotel. I gave him a bottle of red wine to console him... R.I.P.
