  2. Same here. As for Sellar Regions, I got it when it came out, listened to it and filed it. I started to listen to it a few weeks ago and I sure love it.
  3. Hey Paco, I kNOw you from anotheR board. Ha! small world. I'm not a Jazz musican, even though my music involves a degree of improv. It's taken a few years, but sometimes I make money. I couldn't do it just for the money either. Good thing I have a day job.
  4. Back when I was writing chamber music using a Emu Proteus/2, a buddy said I should release a recording and call the "group" the Proteus Ensemble.
  5. It's not happening..............
  6. Damm shame.
  7. I've spent the last 30 years doing that. Sorry I didn't answer your question, but I couldn't resist! Seriously...he is one of my favorites.
  8. Oh yes it does. 'bout time too!
  9. Apparently you think you remember the '70's.
  10. I see it just fine. My LCD is kinda bright.
  11. Yep. And they got a the axe by email on Sat. after many conversaions about it. If someone doesn't change after we talk about it, I have to move on. Arguing about it with me makes that process move a bit quicker. If I'm not having fun....I have better things to do.
  12. Having said that, I really do think Danny shouldn't be so whiney.
  13. Folks have been posting NY Times articles on Yahoo lists for YEARS and I don't think there have been problems.
  14. I have both. Areosmith rocks, Clapton's grooves remind me of the Muddy Water's band.
  15. At the end of an 10 day week of day job - musican on Sat & Sun then another week of the day job, I get in at 4:30 pm thinking I can chill out but I get a call to crank some work out this evening. And I'm taking a short break from doing it now. (That's how I posted so much this week ). For the rest of the weekend: work, compose & play gtr., exercise is the weather is nice. And listen to music when I have a chance. B)
  16. I remember... the first time I tried shushi. I didn't know what I was doing. I had some California-roll type thing. It was all vegetables with rice. I saw the wasabi and thought it was some kind of avocado spread. I took a dip of the green stuff on it's own. I remember my head spinning around, getting sinus pressure, and feeling like I wasn't going to be breathing much longer. I'm glad I was alone when I had my first wasabi experience. I didn't know about the soy sause. I was ready to eat it dry. Never liked wasabi so I never really got the burn. -_-
  17. We'll see about that, ha ha! I don't know about that. Other than an hour or so this afternoon and 9pm-to 1 am when I heard ....YNGVIE!!! I've been checking this board all day. I had a couple of shows of my own last week end so I'm on a bit of a late schedule this week... I'll check the news wires and call it a night.
  18. I got back from a show 'bout an hour ago. Having a drink and checking the forums. Sleep in 15-30 mins.
  19. There might be some Jazz at SummerStage in Central Park. It's been years since I've been there.
