    Yep. Silly comments. And when I post to the What Are You Listening to thread, no one gives me crap about listening to non-jazz music like Morton Feldman or Hinduatani Raga. Even DownBeat steps off the the worn path some times. Plus what Sngry said.

    Well, he's a blues cat....not that there's anything wrong with that. I never heard Hooker play live, but I heard Johnny Winter many many times. BB King and Muddy a few.

    Oh yez, Montrose. Too bad they didn't remaster that sucker when they transfered it to CD. Rock the Nation! I still can't understand why it was such a hit, around here it was constantly on the radio (NYC), yet seems totally forgotten in the big picture.

    When I work at home: no problem. Sometimes on site with a customer. When I visit the customer where I have my own desk and computer, I can, but quietly.

    http://www.dtmgallery.com shows Quintet (Basel) 1977 in stock. They say Quartet (Dortmund) 1976 is oop but check with them anyway, they're always discovering new/old stock on titles.

    But wouldn't a Hindu see God in everything? (the way I understand these things...) I could see a Hindu version of "oneness" in Simon's idea. The intensity of the experience. If a person had an experience of "oneness", it probably would blow them out of their shoes. Well, that's the intensity of that kind of belief: seeing the face of God everywhere and being blown away by that intensity 24/7.
