  1. Does anyone have the BEAR box set? I'm somewhat interested in it. B)
  2. Got the info: Track List DISC 1 1. Get Back 2:34 2. Dig a Pony 3:38 3. For You Blue 2:27 4. The Long and Winding Road 3:34 5. Two of Us 3:21 6. I've Got a Feeling 3:30 7. One After 909 2:44 8. Don't Let Me Down 3:18 9. I Me Mine 2:21 10. Across the Universe 3:38 11. Let It Be 3:55 DISC 2 1. Fly On the Wall 21:58 [The bonus disc, "Fly on the Wall," contains 20-plus minutes of excerpts from the countless hours of tapes from the Get Back Sessions. No song is heard in its entirity -- most are heard in shambolic snippets of 30 seconds or less -- and even if the fidelity is considerably cleaner than that on the monumental (and monumentally boring) nine-disc Get Back Journals, it's still hard to make out the conversations on this disc, and even hardcore Beatles fans will likely tune out this disc after a few minutes. It would have been better if this set was released with a disc devoted to Let It Be... Naked and a disc devoted to the original Get Back, but that's a pipe dream.] Stephen Thomas Erlewine FROM AMG
  3. Guess I'll go the 'free' crap.
  4. If you haven't purchased ESSENTIALS yet, you can buy it at Circuit City along with Bruce's latest DVD for $25. (both the CD set and DVD for $25) Starting Tuesday 11/18 - 11/22.
  5. I read in the ads that it's a 2-CD set. What's on the 2nd disc? KMART $10 (11/18-11/22)
  6. Right on!
  7. When the music's over, turn out the lights....
  8. I noticed the description listed cassettes and lps too. Ha ha. It'll cost you some bucks just to store all the stuff. If you check the dollar bins at most used stores, there's tons of titles that are worthless. I"m sure some 'used' stores eventually discard many discs that are in their dollar bins.
  9. Ebay has #3: http://cgi.netscape.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....egory=1056&rd=1
  10. The first time I read this, I assumed you were trading these in at used stores, but then did a double-take when I realized you said retail! Thinking of trying this has never even crossed my mind before. Tower Records!
  11. Commercial with a conscience though. I don't agree with his politics but I respect him for not just writing the same old jingos over and over. Although I could do without Cover Me and Dancing in the Dark. Ouch I like the 12" Dancing In The Dark remix
  12. The BMG box is not always there. I've gotten CDs, like the recent Verve digipack re-issues with no BMG label markings on them. Some of the Columbia CDs didn't have BMG markings. Also I remember some of the box sets had no BMG markings on them. (I traded them at retail stores for other CDs) Course, you never know.
  13. Looks like an imaginary buyer won too. Course, the seller has no buyer recommendations in her ratings.
  14. It's a battle between two guys. Who has the most money to burn? Guess they don't have a local used store nearby that sells promos. It is rare, but usually sells for $5-10. Course, the DJs get it for free.
  15. A collector probably bit the dust.
  16. With 10,000 editions, I don't expect this to sell out. Should be available for 5 years. B)
  17. Weren't these Atlantic New Orleans albums re-issued on Collectables too? They were on 2 on 1 CDs, I think?
  18. I like to buy the calenders when they get marked down to $1.
  19. If it's not analog, how can the LP sound any different than the CD?
  20. When boiling an egg, after the water is boiling, shut off the power (electric or gas). Let the egg sit in the pot of hot water, it will continue to cook. Those egg gadgets are great for cooking eggs. I like my eggs cooked soft. (not hard boiled) If you plan to cook the hell out of the egg, you don't need the egg gadget. Don't leave the egg in the hot water for very long, after the water comes to a boil. (probably only 2 or 3 minutes) If you cook the egg for 5 minutes, it's probably a HARD EGG. The egg gadget is useless, if you want the egg HARD. (cooked solid all the way thru)
  21. I'll sell it for $25.
  22. But won't you rather have 12 for the price of 1 (and 5 for the sponsor)? That's 17 CDs for about $4.50 each! (covers the cost of shipping and purchase obligation) B)
  23. Hey, Bruce went commercial with BORN IN THE USA. Remember his disco versions... (Cover Me, Dancing in the Dark) He's got a right to make some extra bucks too. It's all about the money.
  24. Newly available: Buffalo Springfield Box set (4-CD) Culture Club box set (4-CD) Rod Stewart - American Songbook
  25. Some of the CDs don't have the BMG labeling. The new Verve Digi pack releases didn't have the BMG labeling. I've also gotten box sets that didn't have the BMG labeling.
