TRUE - But usually they don't include the latest releases for the 10% discount. The $5 off a True Blue CD is usually valid for any Mosaic set. They seem to run both of these sale offers throughout the year.

You talkin' to ME? I'll hit 65 pretty soon. My plans after I get there is to spend time really listening to the treasures I have amassed. This will take me years. My wife knows where and who to call when I'll be done Remember, it took you 40 years to amass your collection of 'treasures.' It will take you just as long to dispose of it, unless you call up a used-record store. If after listening to each 'treasure,' you sell it, you can clear out your collection in 40 years.

BMG has made 'error' shipment to me in the past. Several times they email me and said that I could keep the 'mistake' and they would also send the correct CD. No extra charges. Sweet

I'm getting into hip-hop and rap. Ludacris - Stand UP and OutKast - Way You Move Seem pretty good. Starting to listen to hip-hop/rap radio stations. They seem to use alot of old tunes in their music. Fun stuff.

just curious: Why you sellin? Gave it a listen and it didn't excite me. I have all the other Miles box sets. I'll probably dump the 20-CD live box set too. B)

I ordered the Culture Club 4-CD box set and they sent me a 10-CD BACH set. It's easy to use their online system to inform them of mistakes and it appears they are resending the Culture Club box set (hopefully it will be correct item this time). BMG didn't say anything about 'mistake' 10-CD BACH set, so I guess I have some extra discs. Anybody interested in BACH?

Don't worry about it. As Jim says, it'll be back. There's so much jazz out there to hear that chasing after OOP discs is really sort of a sucker's game (apologies to all; I do it too, but still feel that way). If you can't find enough to listen to with in print CDs, my guess is that you need to "expand your horizons" a bit. Try something new! Then, a few years down the road, when the ones you missed the first time are being reissued and you can pick them up, you'll see a post from someone complaining because they can't find Lee Morgan's Sonic Boom, and you can smile to yourself and remember when... It all depends how many years you have left (to live). If you can wait 10-15 years, most CDs will be re-issued.

Holy smokes! What I want to know is "How did she deliver the collection to the store - with an 18 wheeler?" She probably gave them a phone call and they picked up the collection at her house. Did you see the DVD of High Fidelity? (wife selling husband's collection)

Seems like most of the common labels make it to the BMG club. Even most of the box sets. These labels usually don't sell on BMG: Sundazed Curb Dreamworks London (Rolling Stones) Apple (Beatles) You just have to wait about 6 months. There are quite a few Blue Note cds available. Just use the advance search and enter BLUE NOTE in the label box.

Doesn't seem like BMG and Sony should be allowed to merge. Where's the competition?
