  1. Just like when Tower had their after Christmas sale of Christmas CDs - 50% off. I bought some, then returned some that were duplicates. (I can't remember all the CDs I have at home) I didn't show the receipt, just returned the CDs with the price stickers on the CDs. The clerk gave me full price on the returns. SWEET B)
  2. More POWER to the clerk

  7. No! But I still have all the Obi strips. As Herman Munster so wisely put it, "Darn, Darn, Darn, Darn, Darn!" Did you get one, Ed? :rsmile: Yeah, I saved the OBI strips, but then I realized that since I bought some of the CDs from used stores, they would not qualify for the watch. Any watches on ebay????
  8. Sweet Caroline At least the game is played in decent weather and without snow.
  9. You can always visit one of the members on this board who has Blue Mitchell.
  10. You can always go to the library to listen to Blue Mitchell.
  11. Yes, the auction has been re-listed and specifies 1 CD. But the picture of the box set still appears.
  12. BIRTH OF DEAD - 2 CD digipack. New/Sealed. $15 postpaid (to USA) Cut on back cover thru UPC code. Previously unreleased material. (included in the 12-CD Grateful Dead box set)

  14. site shows Rolling Stones SACD discs for $9.99
  15. Just checked their website and noticed the Rolling Stone sale. http://search.netscape.com/ns/boomframe.js...rrecords.com%2F
  16. Someone would sure be lucky to get a response! Though to be fair to "Marie" feedback left just in the last month, was over 16,000!!!!! They must have a warehouse , a big one, with a fairly large staff...... There was an article about MARIE's one cent sales on ebay in the LA Times awhile back. They said that they go to the local stores around the end of the month and offer to buy CDs that haven't moved very well. They buy in bulk and list everything on ebay. I don't know what prices they pay for these CDs. They said if they don't get $4/disc, they lose money on ebay. It's a husband/wife operation.
  17. Just got Sonny Rollins Vol. 1 #150415 and it's the (remastered) RVG disc. The booklet and online doesn't say it, but it's RVG. (has BMG label on UPC code) Also got the Miles Davis SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE BLACKHAWK (2CD). (No BMG label markings)
  18. You can cheat with or without Turbotax.
  19. In December 2003, there was a free shipping deal with 70% off. Most box sets were included too. I bought a 4-CD set for $20. (plus tax) The Jeff Buckley (3-CD) set was $13.99 (plus tax) Funny thing about the Miles Davis JACK JOHNSON box set, BMG has it listed as a 6-CD set. (it only has 5-CDs)
  20. I've used Turbo Tax for about 10 years. Each year you buy the new software for the year. No yearly upgrades. It was $34 less $10 rebate from Costco for 2003 tax year. Fed/State (DEluxe version) Usually goes on sale just after Thanksgiving. Satisfied. But last year was a real hassle. I use several computers and laptops and don't like to be restricted to which PC I use. My wife can do her thing on another computer too. Also, PCs are being replaced or modified, so you need to be able to move your software around easily. If you can get your taxes done for $80 - that's a bargain. I'm assuming they do a good job. Your taxes sound pretty straightforward, so maybe that's why they only charge you $80. For me, the software is nice because I don't have to worry about calulation mistakes. And the figures are transferred from form to form automatically. If you wait till around Jan 15th, basic (FED only) Turbotax can be found for about $20.
  21. What's interesting, is that the 1999 version with Stereo & Mono does not have all 3 of the bonus cuts. I think it only has 2 of the bonus cuts.
  22. New: Miles Davis JACK JOHNSON box set Dolly Parton JUST BECAUSE I'M A WOMAN (re-issue) Elvis Costello NORTH (but it appears to be w/o the DVD)
  23. I've been getting alittle bored with Rock, jazz, country, blues - so the local hip-hop station is on my car radio. Nice beat - sure makes the car bounce.
  24. Yeah, I did that on some of my auctions. A penny min. bid with a $3.50 shipping charge for an LP. Ebay still got some extra fees for the PayPal amount.
