I was kinda wondering about the seeding system? Doesn't look good that good for the Lakers. The spurs are on a 11 game streak and the Wolves are on a 9 game streak. The queston is, will Horey hit his outside shot or not? (For the Spurs) If he didn't go cold last year from the outside, the Lakers might have been on top. I think the Lakers can handle the Wolves. Collectable started selling these soon after the Mosaic set was available. I have the LPs, but bought the Mosaic anyway. (I remember recommending these albums to Mosaic, so I had to buy it) Haven't check the total tracks time, but couldn't Mosaic have put all the music on 2 or 3 CDs instead of 4? If the Collectables had been released first, I would have been satisfied with those discs. (even though they split the Paul Barbarin and George Lewis with other albums) Don't the LPs usually sell for about $5? Doesn't seem like a rare or highly collectable set. (I do enjoy this style of music)

It wasn't too long ago, before this was reissued, that someone paid over $300 on ebay for this one. Pays to be patient sometimes. The older version of the CD of "Straight No Filter" is sequenced very differently from the one in print today. Because of that, it still has collectibility and does still go for over $50 on ebay (when one does show up... it is pretty rare). Thanks for the info. (I'll keep my eye open for it)

I got a couple of the Chronological Classics CD of Louis Prima and found them enjoyable. So I tried the Mosaic. Somehow, the Mosaic didn't have the same effect on me. Not sure if it was the sheer quantity (6-CD) or what. Since alot of Mosaic was the same music that was on the Classics CDs. I'll give the Mosaic set another spin to see if I really need to keep it.
