  1. 12 points in the 4th quarter for the Lakers. They didn't deserve this win. 17 wins in a row for the SPURS. 3 wins in a row for the LAKERS.
  2. wow, 2 lucky shots to end the game
  3. Who are you and how do you know about CD Collector? You better stay away from there if you know what's good for you!!! I've been going to that one (Sean Kayes, owner - terrific guy) and the more northern CD Collector location west of the Intercoastal on Atlantic Blvd, for quite a few years now. So there's a bit of competition for the wonderfully priced 2nd hand jazz CDs down here, Dan. $2 off coupon in the local City Link (or was it the New Times)?
  4. I went to Walmart - didn't see any.
  5. How many ounces of candy are in these M&M bags?
  6. Ain't that the truth! The guy who must've been the most physically and mentally drained guy on the court, picked up his team and carried them to victory. 42 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists. Wonder which COURT Kobe feels better in? I still give the Laker/Spurs edge to the Spurs. They have home court advantage.
  7. Shipping & handling is about $3/cd, slightly less when you buy/order box sets. So your 12 for 1 deal works out to about $5/cd. If a current member (like me), sponsor's you, BMG will give me 5 CDs (I pay shipping costs) and you still get the 12 for 1 deal. So please contact me or someone who is a current member of BMG before you enroll. All we need is your email address, then we can have BMG forward you the enrollment info.
  8. Those National league hitters haven't seen his pitching ...
  9. New: Melissa Etheridge - LUCKY Harry Nilsson - Nilsson Schmilsson (Remastered)
  10. Great game. Wolves got lucky. Go Madsen, slam another!
  11. Dodgers, Marlins, and Angels are in 1st Place. The Angels I expected.
  12. Mark Madsen slamming a dunk. Can it get any better?
  13. I'll buy the CD from BMG club when it becomes available. (same with Norah's latest)
  14. Is William Hung here?
  15. New: 10,000 Maniacs - CAMPFIRE SONGS (2) greatest hits compilation (I've been waiting for this selection) Count Basie - AT NEWPORT (Master edition) Verve Bill Evans Trio - PORTRAIT IN JAZZ (SACD hybrid) Stan Getz - Bosses and Ballads : Lost Sessions Wes Montgomery - INCREDIBLE JAZZ GUITAR (SACD hybrid) Dinah Washington - AFTER HOURS WITH MISS D (Master edition) Verve
  16. Mary Chapin Carpenter BETWEEN HERE AND GONE w/DVD
  17. That's why they call it home court advantage
  18. Yeah, with HUNG as a last name, I'm sure he gets alot of jokes.
  19. The guy (HUNG) said on a TV interview that he was a virgin and that he was saving himself till marriage. Then he said something like that he might change his mind if the right situation (girl) came along.
  20. I'm sure there's alot of cdrs floating around UC Berkeley too.
  21. Are you aware that the move to the Jazz & Vinyl Annex has meant that all of their jazz vinyl is now available to browse? Might be a reason to go back ... I remember the days at the main BLUE NOTE store, when Mosaic sets would be priced without premiums. Good for you, I'm not looking for jazz LPs any more. . There used to be another used record store near BLUE NOTE, I think it was called Record Liquidators? So the trip to BLUE NOTE was worth the trip.

  23. This BORDERS is in Fort Lauderdale. (about 30 miles north of Miami) The used record/cd store is near Borders is NOT CD Collector. CD COLLECTOR is located on Altantic Blvd, further North in Pompano. (tiny used store that also alot of boots) You may get lucky and find an occasional gem, but I usually don't. (so Dan, you don't have to worry about me visiting the store) Course, if they have a BEAR FAMILY box set, I may be interested. ALL BOOKS AND RECORDS in Oakland Park (gone now), used to get Mosaic box sets. Dan, did you pickup that Maynard Ferguson Mosaic box? The ALL BOOKS AND RECORDS in Searstown, Fort Lauderdale, on Sunrise/Federal Highway has organized their music section. Now, LPs are very expensive. They have new/promo CDs for about $9. I don't see anything rare or HTF.
