  1. If the CD is 79:57 long, how do you make a cd-r? When I try on NERO, I get a message saying the blank cd-r is too small. Seems like it needs 807 MB. Can I use a DVD-r?
  2. Let it go. Hopefully someone else will enjoy the music.
  3. New: Thad Jones - CENTRAL PARK NORTH (Blue Note) U2 - All That You ...
  4. A true double lifer would not admit it.
  5. How much would you pay for a used box set?
  6. Malone should go to the SPURS to win a championship. Payton - he's out of luck. He can join Charles Barkley. Let's see, will Shaq want to be remembered as a HEAT player or LAKER? 3 Championships or zero? Hall of Fame... Let's see where Shaq goes next year. (doesn't he have only 1 year left with the HEAT) Will his salary go UP or DOWN? I thought his TOE was feeling the pain. Maybe he can sign a long-term contract and then have his TOE injured.
  7. Volleyball fans - Side Out is available on DVD.
  8. Guess it's kinda like Paul Chambers. 4 albums on Blue Note, now on a 3-CD SELECT. But the Freddie Roach Blue Notes aren't as popular. There's only been one domestic CD release. There could be a SELECT, but it would be a low seller. (my guess, 3000 max)
  9. I'll have to ask for specific # next time.
  10. Hey, why did the Capitol Woody set have a max of 7500 while the new Columbia set is only 5000?
  11. Shaq goes back to Florida. He forgot he came to LA to get away from the fishbowl. He'll miss Hollywood and the stars. Does Kobe remember Pipen? Doesn't matter, he'll need the money for all the court costs. The mailman should go to the SPURS to win a championship.
  12. Is it really OOP? Amoeba doesn't have it? I remember seeing it around alot. There was a CD store in Eugene, OR, that had it. What about Tower? Great stuff. I probably have some extra LPs. C D World 3215 W 11th Ave Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 683-6902 Looks like there are some CDs available from Amazon: Amazon
  13. In the future, you might want to use BUY IT NOW with immediate payment thru Paypal only. Then, someone cannot close your auction without payment. Problem with BUY IT NOW, is that there are no backup bidders, in case the high bidder fails to pay. Only problem with BUY IT NOW with Paypal, is that international buyers are excluded. Good only in the USA. Half.com had REAL buyers, because everyone had to sign-up with a credit card. Ebay has more payment options (cash, money orders, credit cards, paypal, personal checks), but they also have the option to not pay.
  14. The latest RVG Blue Notes can also be purchased thru deepdiscountcd.com for $9.97 (no taxes/free shipping). Course, you have to wait for delivery. Deepdiscountcd
  15. It's always easier to BUY, then it is to SELL. That's not a fault of capitalism. We all want stuff at the lowest price, and want to sell stuff at the highest price.
  16. The $8.99 Blue Notes are already discounted, so the 20% off coupon will not apply.
  17. Don't know much about Dan Hicks, but I picked up his DVD and enjoyed it.
  18. Saw this at the used store for $32. Does anybody like it?
  19. secondspin.com has a buying pricelist of CDs. A hot new release USED will get you $5.
  20. BMG club has the Miles box set. An enrollment deal would cost about $5/cd. Box set $25
  21. Depends what price you paid. 40%-50% (since used CDs are sold for about $8-$9)
  22. William Hung's CD/DVD is available
  23. Hey, can't the libraries dump (sell) the extra CDs?
  24. Garage sale this morning @ a buck each! All in xlint shape. I almost had tears in my eyes and I'm totally grateful to the lady who sold them to me. Now, if only I had a digital camera...
