When you have players like Steriod Giambi with big contracts, but now don't take steriods - are those dollars worth it?
-
The Canadian CD/DVD combo is available from mymusic.com for $11.99 plus $3 for shipping. (free shipping if you order $30 of stuff)

Not all the box sets are available from yourmusic. Chet Baker Charlie Parker Johnny Cash - Unearth How do you get the free shipping on 5 CDs?
-
There are European versions that have a CD an DVD on separate discs.
-
I give the EAST the edge. Suns or Spurs in Final (Suns are my favorite, Duncan alittle beat-up). Detroit or Heat in the EAST. (I'm going with Detroit, more desire)

Complete Clef/Verve Count Basie and more!
Tjazz replied to bluesForBartok's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
I can see Mosaic dumping Tal Farlow in Europe, but Basie? No need to reduce the price on Basie. -
Great job Rostasi. (I wasted over 3 hours trying to post the scan)
-
Had to save the scanned file as a jpeg. (took forever to figure out, got someone else to do it)
-
Rhino, Shout! Factory, Legacy, Hip-O, Mosaic Records, Norton Records, and Bear Family are all listed in the table graph. ROOTS - THE VIBE - STRENGTH - HITS - OUT THERE (are the headings) The boxes for STRENGTH, HITS, and OUT THERE were swithched for Mosaic Records and Norton Records. I'm trying to scan it. (scanned it with a Mac with Adobe Photo shop, how do I get it over here?)
-
Did anybody see the latest American Airlines magazine which had an article on Re-issue labels. Mosaic was listed. But the square box table had mis-prints. The boxes on the table were switched with Norton Records. See scan picture in a lower post.

Media mail from yourmusic to Hawaii took 1 month. To Florida from yourmusic, it takes a few days. To California about 7 - 14 days.

With ipods and computers abound, many collectors and music fanatics have mentioned this before.
-
Maybe he was just another speculator, and always intended to sell it on Ebay himself. He was a COLLECTOR. Artie also had tons of books he didn't have time to read. I wonder how many older jazz musicans bought Mosiac sets?
-
I need Jack Teagarden #1 (Capitol).
-
Since Duncan is out. I'd like to see the SUNS and NUGGETS duke it out. The other side HEAT and PISTONS.
-
I just feel sorry for the Dodgers since we stole Beltre away from them. Stole? The Dodgers don't want to pay big bucks to anyone long term. I think Beltre got a good deal. Hope he does well. (I wonder if he will test positive?)

So little talk about Dexter Gordon Select
Tjazz replied to tranemonk's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
I think this may be a slow seller, because the CDs were previously released on Blue Note (vol. 1,2,3) and as a box set in Japan. Has this set been REMASTERED? -
Replacement? I returned my set and they only offered a refund.
-
Would you want to have feeding tube inserted into you, if you were brain dead?
-
Maybe I should have sold my broken box set on ebay too
-
Funny, I got a USED set with the plastic holder (that holds the booklet) broken. Upon returning it, they said they will REFUND my money. Guess they showed me.

Lakers? Yeah, but the Lakers had 3 stars: Kobe, Jackson & Shaq. Kobe wanted 20 million plus, Jackson wanted 15, Shaq 30. So far the Heat don't have to pay Wade 20 million. Would the HEAT pay Shaq 30 and Wade 20? Probably not. I'm still waiting to see what the HEAT will pay Shaq next year. Wade has been the difference for the HEAT. Odem has played below par for the LAKERS. Sounds like Pat Reily has been able to manage Shaq, so far. He's in good shape. Course, maybe it's the Florida weather that helps Shaq's toe. Look how well the HEAT are doing without a coach like Phil Jackson. That might give the edge to Detroit in the playoffs. (better coaching)
-
If Shaq's big toe hangs in there and Wade doesn't get injured, the HEAT look pretty good. Duncan is hurt slightly, so the SPUR/HEAT final could go to the HEAT. (course, can the HEAT beat Detroit?)
