Ahmad Jamal - Big Byrd: The Essence, Part Two (Birdology, 1996)

It was my first listen. Just picked up the CD. So my impressions of the music aren't fully formed. That said, it's Barretto's last recording. Fairly straight ahead jazz, less Latin than I expected. But very well done.
