One of my dearest albums in the early Seventies was Gato´s "Under Fire" (Flying Dutchman)
Exciting music with excellent sidemen, among others Airto, John Abercrombie, Stanley Clarke, Roy Haynes and Lonnie Liston Smith. Highly recommended!
Ron McClure - Match Point and Age of Peace (both Steeplechase)
Love McClure´s quartet recordings with Jed Levy (tenor sax) and guitarist Bob DeVos.
Drummer Jeff Brillinger is excellent as ever. Both albums enjoy exclusively with splendid originals.
