  1. I'm enjoying a bottle of Chateau David Médoc 2009 over dinner. Not too expensive at €10. I wonder what a bottle of Médoc X times that price would taste like. I guess I'll never know.
  2. Bobby Hutcherson - Happenings (BN Works, TOCJ-4231) for $5.99. I strongly disliked the RVG of this.
  3. I'll get the CD set when prices drop. I'm already familiar with a lot of the outtakes through dimeadozen.
  4. You should be able to run dvd audio extractor on OS X with WineBottler.
  5. The DVD has a Linear PCM 1.5 Mbps soundtrack according to my blu-ray player.
  6. MAC DVD Ripper Pro removes the CSS encryption for you and makes a perfect copy to your hard drive in the .iso format. You can double click on this file and open it like a .zip file. Then you can copy the VIDEO_TS folder from the .iso and mess with it. Keep the .iso in case your DVD ever gets damaged. It'll let you burn an exact replica with just the CSS removed. When you start Mac DVD Ripper Pro, first access the preferences menu and deselect 'Use .dvdmedia extension' and you are good to go. You get 5 free rips with the trial version.
  7. The AUDIO_TS folder is always empty. I've never encountered a disc that had a full one. A good first step could be to make a rip of the DVD to your harddrive with Mac DVd Ripper Pro. I see that Mac DVD Ripper Pro will copy the video+audio to iTunes. But what if I just want the audio? If you have the untouched VIDEO_TS folder without copy protection on your hard drive there must be ways to access just the audio. Perhaps others can fill in here.

  9. A small freestanding home in a sparsely populated wilderness area.
  10. Left- or right-handed, it seems you won't hit anything right again.
  11. Shipping: actual cost of shipping. Payable as PayPal gift in Euros, any PayPal fee to be charged to buyer's account. -------------------------- ... -------------------------- Sold * (€ 25) Charles Mingus - The Jazz Workshop Concerts 1964-1965 (Mosaic, MD7-253) Shipping (parcel): NL €6.75, EU between €9 and €11.70, World €18.05 registered NL €8.05, registered EU between €14.30 and €20.60, registered World €25.60 7 CDs and artwork in mint condition, no book or box. CD artwork contains all relevant discographical information. One CD case contains tiny crack on lower right side. The book had number 400 of 7500. As you might remember my Mosaic Mingus set had water damage. Mosaic send me a replacement free of charge. The box and book of the original shipment were toast. The CDs however were undamaged due to the shrink wrap. I removed the shrink wrap and played a few discs once while waiting for my replacement set. The CD artwork was not damaged by moisture. The back artwork of the final disc is a bit wavy (no creasing), but the front insert isn't, so this wasn't caused by moisture. (Mosaic's artwork sometimes just isn't as perfect as a big company's. The back artwork of two of the discs in my replacement set actually had other kinds of imperfections.)
  12. PM on -Sonny Clark Memorial Quartet (John Zorn) - Black Saint (made in France) case and disc clean/case has a price sticker I don't mind the high international shipping.
  13. Daniel Dennett on BBC's Hardtalk. No, really.
  14. Wild Arabia (BBC)
  15. That is funny, considering it's a strap-on.
  16. David Murray on DIW.
  17. Donald Trump Robert Crumb Mr. Natural
  18. Joe Henderson - Big Band (Verve)
  19. Sorry, I forgot you are on a PC.
  20. Bobby Hutcherson's Total Eclipse. I've never paid as much for an eighties McMaster BN. It took me a while to find a copy without markings for close to €20. Prices for the McMaster and the recent TOCJ are more than double that on amazon.
  21. Fix It Felix Wreck-It Ralph Doctor Eggman
