Anyone know what was Monks last composition?

Didn't he create some new material on the spot for the Black Lion recordings in London? -
Can't see anything. Referral Denied You don't have permission to access "http://c3.cduniverse.ws/MuzeAudioArt/Large/45/1254045.jpg" on this server. Reference #24.d80e4bd5.1377594848.1afaff8 These CDuniverse links are unfortunately only visible to the original posters (it's still in their browser's cache). A recurring problem.

Perhaps it's a good thing most people aren't convinced CAM is butchering the Black Saint/Soul Note catalogue with these sets. That leaves more individual discs on the second hand market for people like me to pick up.

Sick subject matter. Of course the pervs got what was coming. This is television.

A while back, a German seller sent me a promo copy of Andrew Hill's Time Lines as an extra. It's a US cd with FBI warning on the back. It looks much like the photo below I found on the internet. The only thing is there was no front insert. Does anybody know if it was customary for Blue Note promo CDs from 2005/6 not to have front artwork?

OK, Sons of Anarchy wasn't meant to be. After dinner, I watched Breaking Bad season one episode one. I'm going to have a Breaking Bad marathon alongside the final eight episodes of season 5. There are enough allusions to just season 1 episode 1 in season 5 so far to make this exciting. Brilliant.

The Mosaic LPs use the same mix by Kevin Reeves, but were mastered by Kevin Gray instead. So if that tenor sound originates in the mixing... From Mosaic: Produced for release by Harry Weinger, Richard Seidel and Michael Cuscuna Remixed from the original three-track masters by Kevin Reeves, Sterling Sound, New York City Mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Sound, North Hills, CA The CD states: Mixed from the original three-track session reels and mastered in high-resolution audio by Kevin Reeves at Sterling Sound, NY. The tenor sound is somewhat different, but I personally don't have a problem with the complete version. Even though mastered by Kevin Reeves, it doesn't suffer from the same faults as his Impulse Originals remasters. It's like that series was mastered too loud on purpose. For my money the best sounding version of the original Sun Ship album is the recent Japanese SHM-CD, UCCI-9204. I've compared it against the 1995 20-bit and Originals CDs.

In the end, House Of Cards was not for me. I think I'll skip any subsequent seasons. I just began watching Sons Of Anarchy season one. Looks promising.

There was the now closed Lavabit which Edward Snowden used (BBC). Lavabit "This experience has taught me one very important lesson: without congressional action or a strong judicial precedent, I would _strongly_ recommend against anyone trusting their private data to a company with physical ties to the United States." - Ladar Levison -

I should probably quit Google, but I don't feel like using the e-mail address given to me by my internet provider either. Their service is too erratic and I might have to switch providers if only the competition was any better. -

'in stock' at amazon.co.uk... If it turns out it's a Black Saint CD-r returning the item should be possible. A while ago I ordered the Monk Black Lion 24-bit remasters from amazon.de and volume 1 turned out to be a CD-r. Volumes 2 & 3 were still shrink wrapped so I returned all three titles. (I told them I ordered real CDs.) I also think I will buy these second hand now.

Same here. And the final two episodes from last season (which I missed) will be shown right before the season premier tonight. Whoa! You also missed being spoiled about the ending of episode eight on the internet for a year? Well if you mean what Hank finds out, I guess I did hear about that. :-) Yes, Marie shoplifting again. What a blow.

Ex-Organissimo member Christern on PBS last night

I don't know who Hans is, but I agree with this sentiment whole-heartedly. He's the guy who turned a thread about Chris being in a documentary into a thread about him and Aloc....all the while proclaiming he's innocent of what most everyone thinks he meant, but are now twisting what he meant (wink, wink) to what he didn't mean (wink wink). Ironically, he also proclaimed he was leaving the board....if you're going to do that.....might as well do it in a thread that was meant to be about Chris....but still posts....and apparently doesn't have me on ignore. The melodrama! There will be a pop quiz on this. And you are simply a troll. I would miss Hans if he stopped posting here. Not you. As a relative newcomer my word won't mean much here, but I've had plenty of pm contact with Hans since joining and he's is a good guy. Personally, I liked some of the topics Aloc posted. -
So I finished my Sopranos marathon in time for Breaking Bad's final eight episodes. Currently watching House Of Cards season one.
