  1. oh man this one remains such a great record.
  2. very happy with this haul
  3. Still mixed feeling on this one. I love Hannibal, I really do. But I never understood why he had such terrible singers on his records. Do others experience the same or am I hearing something wrong? I mean the woman on this record is seriously out of tune.
  4. No issues with that one for me either.
  5. 100 euros shipped in Europe. Discs are in excellent condition and so are the sleeves. The box has some small storagewear. Pics avaible on request.
  6. Yeah to me it’s the other way around.

I don’t think so I was mixing them up, my my mistake.
  8. ive got quite a lot of Oscar Peterson cds and lps. Will spin some of them to decide if I want to keep them or sell. This one’s definitely a keeper. The trio with Brown and Thigpen was a lovely group
  9. It's great Brad. Ive got all of their records but I think their last one is my favorite These guys still rock! Just look at them!
  10. Excellent. I got the both the Abdullah Ibrahim and Cookers on vinyl and they sound great. The Tolliver cd also sounds very good. Quality stuff for mostly pretty reasonable prices.

Really like the Ayler boxed set. Nice way to compile these concerts and I am pretty sure Craft will make something nice out of the package.
  12. Suzuki is an excellent bassist.

Interested in the Ayler and the Shepp/Roach
  14. Glad she’s okay. I have to say that to me, as a high school teacher, it’s just unimaginable that there are security gates at my work place. I’m happy you can smoke some weed here but can’t wear a gun. I am pretty sure the last one kills more. Maybe I did make it political now. Sorry if I have.
  15. With almost 80.000 posts that sounds pretty fair
  16. with Ahmed Abdullah, Billy Bang, Marion Brown, Sirone, Fred Hopkins and Andrew Cyrille. Must say it‘s not as great as expected seeing those names but it’s still a very solid session.
  17. The combination of patatoes, bacon and onions is excellent. But you should never buy those instant meals. Yikes!
  18. Nice to listen once in a while but I prefer the trio with Thigpen. These LP’s are the oldest in my collection (end of the 1950’s) and I like that idea.
  19. Yeah surface noise is the biggest problem. The vinyl looks very clean but doesn’t sound clear. I’ll keep that in mind buying new records.
  20. You have to be lucky with these Rainbo pressings. This one sounds pretty… Solid! Thanks I’ve got that one on my radar. My copy is a Dutch mono from the 60’s. My Dutch mono of MJQ’s Fontessa also sound pretty bad…. Might be coincidence
