  1. Haha what could I expect I am curious! The big free-jazz drummer giving a cheesy interpretation of ‘My Way’?
  2. Haha are you refering to Dutch doctors Niko? Cause I think I know what you mean. I’ve had some injuries from CrossFit in the past and the advice was always : just don’t go working out for a month and see what that does where I just needed some simple exercises to actually recover. I know thanks to that experience that full rest with a sports injury is the worst you could do…
  3. Thanks guys! @Kevin Bresnahan not yet no. If it takes one more week I’ll make a new appointment at the doctors office thanks!

    Roy Ayers RIP.

    Rip Mr. Ayers
  5. After 5 years of escaping, I still got COVID. 2 weeks ago I had all the symptoms: sore throat, headache, fever, no taste and no smell. It lasted a few days and although annoying it was all bearable. Last weekend I thought I had recovered: no more fever, sore throat was gone, taste was already coming back. Just still a bit tired actually. Then last Sunday I was treated to a serious ear infection in my left ear and the day after that in my other ear. I used to have it a lot when I was little and had forgotten how much it hurts. Really bad. After three days the pain was gone and the fever too. But now my ears are still completely blocked. You feel enormous pressure on them but I can't open them. On top of that I hear a very high-pitched beep in both my ears. Gosh, this is so frustrating. It makes the whole day tiring. Teaching like this is really awful.... my three big hobbies, CrossFit l, reading and listening to music, can't do...it makes me tired and quite irritable and I feel sorry for my wife and children who have to sit in the house with such a grumpy person all day. according to the doctor it should go away by itself. I hope this happens soon then.
  6. I always thought they were bootlegs. They sure sounded so….
  7. 23 years ago? I was still in primary school then 😅 so I was a little later but still: glad to have enjoyed the party!
  8. That’s another great Harper record 😍
  9. Hamba Khale? 😇
  10. I think both the description as the title tells its not very free?
  11. Wow what an amazing record. So glad I managed to obtain a copy. I like this way better than his more known Humility where the yodling to me sounds a little silly. This is some top notch free jazz. Goes a little between Ornette Coleman and Albert Ayler I’d say. Great band also with Malachi Thompson on trumpet, Hakim Jami on bass and John Betsch on drums (both are truly on fire) plus Juma Sultan adding some excellent percussion.
  12. volume 3. I’d say this one is less interesting than 2. It misses the fire of the second volume. Sound is also a little less good.
  13. my sons pick for this morning. Excellent taste just like his father 🤘
  14. Uri Caine with Mark Helias and Joey Baron. All three in excellent shape. Great to see how much fun they have playing together. Great gig!
  15. Now I am not a huge Byrd fan but I really dig that record!
  16. that's the one I started too with as well. Great indeed Up for the two next ones this weekend.
  17. Some excellent records in there 🥰
  18. Never heard of him but you guys make me curious to hear this one. Added it to my Spotify to listen list.
  19. I think the fact that it’s a needle drop is what most people suspect but no one has full certainty I believe. I have the PP and sounds very, very good. It’s among my better sounding records
  20. Wow that looks interesting thanks!
  21. Great stuff enjoy. Hope to visit Japan one day myself. I’d bring an extra suitcase for Japanese vinyl
