    Is there a free scene in Japan for Blue Note releases where they'd go for this? The BN releases in Japan are relatively conservative save for the BNLA series reissues. There would be more of a chance of John Zorn buying the tapes and issuing this on Tzadik, I'd think.

    Not trio but both Metheny/Mehldau albums are great quiet harmonically busy. Both Day Trip albums too (the live Tokyo Day Trip is excellent). Kenny Burrell 12/15/78, Roni Ben Hur, "Fortuna" (a quartet)

    Great news. Is there a possibility Mosaic could do a CTI All Stars set with the Southgate Palace concert in 1971, Munich in '72 and Seattle in '73?
