  1. I enjoy the Blue Note in Napa, and Yoshi's in SF, but those are over 2 hour drives for me. I do not get out as much as I used to though. I believe that is an Ojas setup and exhibit... https://jelabs.blogspot.com/2023/12/ojas-listening-room-usm-in-soho-nyc.html
  2. The beauty of it all for me is when the music starts the entire system disappears...no speakers at all.... It is just layers of beautiful music. It's my thing, my life, I worked in a music studio since I was 11, and have never really gotten close to real organic music in my home environment until these last few years. I became very intimate with my room due to having lots of unexpected spare time for the first time in my life. I have acoustically treated it carefully for the last two years and it is rewarding me now. Also I am lucky to have an entire 20x24x8 separate dedicated room. You guys are welcome to come by and listen for yourself sometime.... You can tell me what you think yourself. Bring your favorite music and media if you would like. I have over 13,000 lps, 500 15ips tapes, and over 55,000 digital albums including over 5,000 in DSD. I was 8 months old in the photo below. I still have the stereo and the LP's, and tapes from this photo 54 years ago. I listened to the music then as I do now. It's always been about the music.

  8. Lon, YOU are correct in so many ways. At only maybe 17 of these out and about I am glad I went with my audio gut and moved mountains to get this amplifier. My audio life has and will never be the same again in the best possible ways imaginable. I've been meaning to reach out and I will through an email soon to possibly exchanges numbers if you'd like.
