Zzzzzzzoltan! -
My guess is the three boxes in the series.

To paraphrase Sir Mick - you can't always get what you want - but sometimes you get what you need.

I think I could make a case for 9 time Pro Bowler Warren Moon on my list too by the way. When you factor in his CFL and NFL years, he had more passing yards than anybody else when he retired. In fact, he still is second on that list, with an almost 5,000 yard lead over third place Brett Favre. I know yardage doesn't equal wins or championships, but it is a testament to how well he did the important part of his job - anybody can hand a ball off to an RB, but not anybody can make pass completions, especially for that many yards.
-
I think he just missed the list in a three-way tie with Ryan Leaf and Akili Smith.

Here are Peter King's Top 12, by the way, from 9/22/09: 1. Otto Graham 2. Sammy Baugh 3. Joe Montana 4. Johnny Unitas 5. Brett Favre 6. Peyton Manning 7. John Elway 8. Dan Marino 9. Roger Staubach 10. Tom Brady 11. Bart Starr 12. Terry Bradshaw

Well done going 13-1, Connie! That's impressive in any week. -
Un-friend you on Facebook? :rsmile: You'd have to friend him in the first place, and who in their right mind would wanna do that?

GB needed a score on that last drive when they went for it on 4th and goal. Not sure there's enough time now to score twice.
-
Ok. Sorry for apparently attacking you.

Huh? You criticized Romo then blasted me because I pointed that out to you. Then you bag on me because you criticized Romo. WTF? My advice: Read your own posts before getting on me about them, OK? My point: Romo couldn't carry Troy Aikman's shoes. And I seriously think a trip to the optometrist could benefit you greatly. No offense. Dude, you came out of nowhere (post 2452 in this thread) to criticize my post about Rodney Harrison and Tom Brady. Talk about revisionist history here. Why did you feel the need to point out to me that I criticized Romo in the first place? I know what I was typing. Am I not allowed to criticize Romo or something? I'm not getting on you about *MY* posts either, as you state. You are the one that responded to me with comments that made no sense. I've never said Romo was better than Aikman either, despite your apparent attmpt to make it look like I'm saying that. I'm still not sure what you're point was in responding to my Harrison/Brady comment in the first place, and then turning it into a Romo discussion.

Oooookay. Not sure what your point is, still. I criticized Romo for his poor performance. I criticized Jerry Jones for not doing a better job getting some decent WRs. You don't want me mentioning Romo and Aikman in the same sentence? I told you I'd take Brady over Romo too, all things being equal. So what point are you actually trying to make?
-
I'm not sure why you think this is me criticizing Brady, or what it has to do with the Cowboys. That was former Brady teammate Rodney Harrison that said that tonight on the air. I found it interesting/amusing. I'd take Brady over Romo any day of the week, personally too. Romo happens to be the best QB the Cowboys have had since Aikman, though he seems to have regressed this season with a substandard WR corps though. I blame that on GM Jerry Jones.
-
You sure got me there. Did you really go through all of my old posts to dig this up??
-
"Tom Brady, if you're listening, take off the skirt and put on some slacks. Toughen up" - Rodney Harrison, apparently made after Brady tried to get a call (and did) against T. Suggs in tonight's game for roughing the passer. Apparently there wasn't much of foul - I didn't see the play, so dunno. Interesting for him to call out his former teammate though!

The more I think about it, the more I agree with this, so I turned off the signatures.
-
I've always had "signatures" turned off in my board settings. Never understood the point or the appeal. Guess I may have to resort to that. I enjoy reading people's signature lines for the most part, don't mind those there. It's the big, annoying images that just get in the way and add no value. I'm surprised people think it's ok to have large images of females attached to their every post though. It would make me uncomfortable about posting here if I were female, especially a newbie. Fortunately (or coincidentally?) we don't seem to get too many of those. It's one thing to avoid a thread that exists solely to show off pictures of females (which is also unnecessary IMO), but it's difficult to avoid signature images, unless you turn signatures off completely. It's a shame to have to do that.
-
I'd prefer to ban images in people's signatures. They disrupt discussions, and are more annoying. Also, nudity in any images doesn't seem appropriate (like your avatar, small as it is). My kids occasionally look over my shoulder at what I'm doing online.

Nice win for the Broncos. I think the Cowboys offense cost them the game today, not the defense - though the defense really couldn't get a stop when it needed to late. Romo didn't look good at all again. Overthrows, sacks, an interception, and a fumble that gave the Broncs an easy TD.
