I think another underlying reason is that we've come to expect a certain level of income without regard for the work being done. It's cheaper to farm industrial/manufacturing work out to other countries where people are willing to do the same jobs for significantly cheaper income. Side note - Baristas at Starbucks probably make more in tips than alot of people in poorer countries. Why is that? And why should I be expected to tip someone for making my coffee when I don't have to tip basically the same person at McDonalds? Who gets to decide which service jobs are tip-worthy and which aren't?

And they never, ever, ever end. Ever. Yeah, but there's an upside - there *ARE* trombone babes out there!

Going to be interesting in Cincinnati. WR corps of Terrell Owens, Ochocinco, and Antonio Bryant. Combustible personalities for sure - who's going to be the first to complain they're not getting enough balls thrown their way? Plus this team has Pacman Jones on it. And Cedric Benson. And Matt Jones. And Tank Johnson. Are there enough probation officers in Cincy to keep track of those guys??

The Cowboys signed their first round pick, Dez Bryant, today. Which is great because their training camp starts this weekend, since they're playing in the Hall of Fame game this year. I think Bryant is gonna be a good one - they gave him #88, which was Drew Pearson and Michael Irvin's number, so there are obviously some high expectations from the organization. I think it's just a matter of time before he supplants Roy Williams as the starter opposite Miles Austin. Ready for some football!

The court sentenced Sabbar Kashur, 30, to 18 months behind bars on Monday, after finding that he had had sex with the woman by posing as a Jewish bachelor interested in a long-term relationship.
