@ the very least....it's probably on the list of things of him to look @....there are so many things on that list after all http://kimjongunlookingatthings.com/ http://kimjongunlookingatthings.tumblr.com/ http://www.ranker.com/list/51-best-pictures-of-kim-jong-un-looking-at-things-v1/ariel-kana -
Didn't take long for the Yankees to resign Girardi to another 4-years. Now, it's Cano coming to reality after "testing the market". The Dodgers already made it clear they're not interested. Considering his age and he's a 2nd baseman and the history of the position....5-6-years really is the most, but the Yankees will probably give him 7-8-years like Pedroia, which I think the Red Sox & Yankees will end up regretting. Of course, Cano might end up playing 3rd if Mr. April is suspended and they don't trade for anyone.

Something posted by Mary Halvorson on her tumblr. I have seen this done myself in the past. I never get it....especially when I see some of the beers/drinks they're drinking costing $10+. "I went to see a really amazing concert tonight. A trio of musicians of the highest caliber who played beautifully. It was a “pass the hat” concert with a suggested donation of $10. I watched the tip jar go around (clearly labeled ‘suggested donation $10’). A couple people put in nothing, another put in $2. All these people were drinking beer. Cummon guys!! It’s $10! Support live music! If you can’t afford it that’s one thing, but then, don’t let me catch you drinking that beer! If you have to choose between beer and music, choose music!" http://maryhalvorson.tumblr.com/post/63533015573/pay-for-live-music

1. Not wasting time on that. 2. "It is in the character of very few men to honor without envy a friend who has prospered." - Aeschylus aka the Clusterfuck which was a result of envy. I went into the details in one of the Mathew Shipp threads.

Bite your tongue. If the [hated] Dodgers get to the WS it will be a sad page in the history of the MLB. Buying your way in is NOT what baseball is supposed to be about. I don't know why you like to pretend the Giants didn't buy their two....like the Red Sox, Phillies, Angels, etc....even the Diamondbacks bought theirs. The Giants only had any chance of winning once they started spending. Now, they're headed back to that land being relevant every so often unless they keep spending. They, like the Dodgers already have the advantage of being in the weakest division in the MLB....but only gets them so far. It's like the Niners didn't buy all those Super Bowls while DeBartolo, Jr. was throwing around all that DeBartolo Corporation money before the hard cap in 1994/1995 season, which was the last Super Bowl game for them until last year. As in, glass houses and all.

No, as my youngest sister would say when she was 4....you're "confuseded". The Pres is the one that was hidden in plain site in the Lester Young corner thread. Like I said.....how sneaky is that!? It's the Louis Armstrong that apparently hasn't been mentioned. It's a vast conspiracy by those Modern/Avant-garde people. There may, or may not be Canadians involved. There also might be a pop quiz on all this. -
Thought my comment on Drake makes him have to play to be self-explanatory. Yes, he's earned it to an extent....but now I think for me....that he goes through the motions too much and lives off the that acclaim....unless someone like Drake, or similar is pushing him. P.S. The "I am William Parker" thing was also one of the things behind the whole Susie Ibarra Clusterfuck. Another of those that made him have to get out of that mode.
-
Looks interesting...thankfully, only one with Leena Conquest....and Hamid Drake is on all of them. For me, in the last decade it's only when he's with Drake...he's not in what I call the....I am William Parker mode. Drake makes him really play. P.S. Just noticed Ernie Odoom is involved. Really didn't like him on Essence of Ellington.

Atlanta was so close to the Super Bowl last year....now Julio Jones continues the mess of this season. P.S. When the Vikings give Josh Freeman $2 million (someone no other team would have come close to that)....you know the Ponder era is over in a couple games.

Normally, I would just blame Canada for all this.....but those Modern/Avant-garde guys/girls seem to be planning a hostile takeover. First, they arranged for a Lester Young compilation to be posted in a thread devoted entirely to Lester Young (just how sneaky is that...right in plain site!)....and now it's digital only release by Louis Armstrong of stuff that from the looks of it most everyone that loves Louis Armstrong already has. As in, ....this isn't really new. @ this rate everyone the takeover will happen in 2175 +/- 3-years. -
Romo has 23 fourth quarter INT's in his career....Cowboys have lost the last eight consecutive games in which he's thrown one. "P.S. Once again....the Niners won in spite of it's looking more like he's a partial year wonder...Colin Kaepernick. He was 5-14 for 49 yards. He ended up 6-15 for 113 only because of one late pass to Vernon Davis. He also had a whopping 14 yards rushing." Any team would take that stat sheet every week when the team wins by 31!! Outside of the GB game that is pretty much his weekly stats and they're not going to get much games like that. Though, it helps they have such a soft schedule this year.

I said it before. Jerry Jones is the modern version of Al Davis when he Jumped the Shark....@ least Davis had a clue for several decades before then. I could be wrong, but I think Manning passes Marino for passing yards and is now only behind Favre. At this video game rate....he might end up with 64 TDs and 6,000+ yards in the regular season. P.S. Once again....the Niners won in spite of it's looking more like he's a partial year wonder...Colin Kaepernick. He was 5-14 for 49 yards. He ended up 6-15 for 113 only because of one late pass to Vernon Davis. He also had a whopping 14 yards rushing. P.P.S. Amazing as this might sound, but Dallas (which is now 2-3) is tied with Philly for first place in the NFC East.

Two fast foods are a small sample size....and why do I get the feeling one of them is the place people think of "Chicken" Nuggets and fast food. Nugget number one was about 50 percent muscle tissue such as from the breast or thigh, which is what most people think of when they think of chicken meat. The rest of it was made from fat, blood vessels and nerves, specifically the cells that line the skin and internal organs of the chicken. Nugget number two was 40 percent muscle. The rest was fat, cartilage and bone. http://ftpcontent4.worldnow.com/wlbt/PDF/ChickenLittle.pdf

Since it's Red River Shootout next week. Lee Roy Selmon (would be t00 easy to go with Dewey and Lucious) Bud Wilkinson Darrell Royal (the Sooner part of the family would tell you it took someone from Oklahoma.) (940) 383-2007 (617) 338-7699 (212) 355-2034 Since it's that time of year: Nobel Prize (aka, Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.) Planck

Mr. April is in full lawsuit mode. Now he's suing the Yankees' team Dr. and New York-Presbyterian Hospital....how long before he tries to sue his own Union? http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/06/sports/baseball/a-frustrated-rodriguez-turns-on-the-players-union.html Interestingly, he's still hasn't sued the Yankees.

I haven't watched Dexter since season 4. I read a spoiler-heavy review of the finale that said it was so bad it invalidated the entire series -- and that they now regretted watching any Dexter episodes at all. Harsh... In a sense from the moment the character got married and then they had a child and then what happened....it started invalidating the series. The last season was just one very long never mind. Outside of his still killing people there wasn't much of anything sociopathic about him for a good while. The last episode was as bad as the series finale of Sopranos and Seinfeld in my mind. It's best run is when Erik King was playing Doakes.

what are you drinking right now?
Blue Train replied to alocispepraluger102's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
You're welcome. Stay thirsty, and don't drink and drive. -
Feel bad for the Browns' fans. Hoyer gone for the season with a torn ACL. Back to Weeden, or Jason Campbell.
-
Kobe went from he was talking about returning for the opening season game....which made no sense no matter how hard he trains and his pain threshold and even less since they're not going to be that good this year....to now he can't say when....and he's flown to Germany to have platelet-rich plasma therapy on the same knee he had it done before. I think this might be the third time.

I didn't think that was possible. Zorn, Art and Camouflage. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/03/arts/music/john-zorn-fills-metropolitan-museum-with-music.html

You know they're all ready counting the days to the 60th Anniversary version.
