Cyril, That's a duplicate. You posted it yourself back on February 22.

I played recordings earlier this week from a session he made for Melrose. Only two of the four tunes were issued. All are on the Capitol Mosaic box. His playing on the ballads (Pennies From Heaven, which was issued, and on Body and Soul (two unissued versions)) is magnificent.

Mr. Ed was the real star of the show. Ever notice how much time he spent with his horse? Incidentally, the theme song was written by the team of Jay Livingston and Ray Evans.

There are references to it being a UK label, a Danish label, or perhaps a Boris Rose label. My best guess is that it was a Danish label. It seems to be unrelated to the 78 rpm reissue label of the same name. Here's a summary of the issues that I could find: Temple M-550: Duke Ellington And His Orchestra 1940-1941 Temple M-551: Ellington at Fargo, Vol. 1 Temple M-552: Ellington at Fargo, Vol. 2 Temple M-553: Count Basie at the Savoy Ballroom, 1937 I can't find a picture of this issue on line. Some information on line suggests it might be a UK issue. However, other sources suggest that it might be a Danish label from the mid 1960s. Finally, as mentioned below, it might be a Boris Rose issue. What about M-553? All I can find is this item, but it's a completely unrelated 78 reissue label: Perhaps this should be moved to discography.
