  1. It’s that time again! Birthday wishes Jack! 🎂
  2. Hi Ken, Could you send me the list? Thanks.
  3. Hi Ken,

Didn't hear back from you. I'd like the list.

    --- Jon

  4. I agree based on what I've heard so far.
  5. Hi Ken,

I'll take a copy of the list.  Thanks.

Has the station digitized them all?  Our station has made periodic attempts to do so, but they never seem to make much progress!

    - Jon

  6. Hi Bob,

Any success in or suggestions for Toronto?  I'm headed there on Wednesday.

    --- Jon

  7. Wow. Shortcomings of the Red Sox bullpen starkly exposed this weekend. Yankees put up a 9 run inning to turn game 2 around. This is ugly.
  8. Agreed. Those of us who knew Steve appreciated his passion and friendship. He is much missed.
  9. Headed down later this morning. See some of you there perhaps.
  10. Appalling, isn't it? It confirms many of the rumors that have been circulating for years. What a loss!
  11. I saw a report that indicated his gallbladder may have been removed. I imagine more reliable details will be forthcoming. He's a beloved icon in these parts. In the past, I've heard other players and team officials name Ortiz as there favorite person associated with the team. Here's a link to an article that discusses Ortiz: https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/redsox/2019/06/10/seen-firsthand-why-people-dominican-republic-adore-david-ortiz/GOIUktTPb6JXgx5B3JwveJ/story.html?event=event12

  13. I love this record. It's magical.
  14. I remember seeing him in Boston occasionally in the 1980s. Here's a link to his webpage: https://tonyinzalaco.weebly.com/bio.html
  15. I have fond memories of Koji and his time with the Red Sox. On other fronts (Mets), things are not good. There are reports that Cano is being benched after two recent incidents of not running out the box. Also, Yoenis Cespedes had an accident on his Florida ranch over the weekend and is being evaluated in New York. Multiple fractures in one ankle. Odd descriptions of a "violent fall" and "stepping in a hole." Those descriptions seem inconsistent. One wonders if and when (and where?) Cespedes will play again.
  16. You beat me to it! For those who might not get the reference, Doby refers to Larry Doby, the first black Major League Baseball player in the American League (Jackie Robinson) was in the National League.
  17. Out to dinner. Will check for you later.

  19. Lord shows the Oliver Jackson Black & Blue date as being recorded in NY, FWIW. I don't see anything by France in Europe in Bruyninkx.
