Soular Energy is a beautiful recording indeed! In the early '70s Ray Brown also recorded a duo with Duke Ellington - "This One's For Blanton," on Pablo, which is also a great recording. Until hearing the latter I knew of some similarities between the Duke's playing and that of Thelonious, but that recording crystalized it.
