  2. 👍 They have just announced a concert in my local park next summer, I'm tempted. Sounds like summer evening music to me.
  3. The Teskey Brothers - The Winding Way My first listen to this band. That's a hell of a voice and they seem to have nailed the sound, perhaps a bit too slavishly retro but I like this, a lot so far. Wondering what @soulpopethinks of them? That's surely feel good and yes, who would have thought?
  4. I do but I don't like it as much, nor it's prices... That's a great one indeed, I discovered it on a @felser BFT and I'm forever grateful for that every time I play it
  5. Ok then! You're on a roll 😀

  11. Finished my run through of all series of The Americans yesterday. Late to the party but it was fun if riddled with ridiculous plot developments. A much better tale to be told from an interesting premise.
  12. Yes, I listened to 'The Balance' earlier today, a fine later album. I also have to thank @Pimfor his championing of 'Echoes From Africa' which I added to the collection recently.
  13. Bridget St.John Kevin Coyne Lol Coxhill
  14. Palle Mikkelborg - Ashoka Suite [Metronome, Denmark 1970] It's taken a while to track this down but I'm very pleased I have. A while ago I started a thread about trombone and vibes front lines, this has four trombones with its vibes!
  15. Michael Palin Tom Paulin Billy Paul
  16. I'm really pleased you enjoyed it

  20. I agree, such a decline since. I still hold hope he'll have a late career renaissance
  21. Limpe Fuchs Shaggy from Scooby Doo Screwie Louie
  22. Thanks Steve. I'll check out Sawyer's releases
  23. They're probably using yours and other's shipping money to fund the next production run, small one-person (?) endeavour, big project
  24. Looks very interesting to me. I like Mette and Zeena but don't know Ryan Sawyer. Can you ask them to come and play in London please Steve...
  25. I'm pleased I didn't go for this now, having bought four of the series from DG I think that's enough for me. If I'm honest from what I've heard the quality of the recordings and some of the music too isn't up to much further investigation on such a big scale. For those of you who are all in I hope it turns up and you feel differently about the product.
