So much great music. He was the soundtrack to the Jazz Dance/Acid Jazz/Rare Groove scene over here in the 80s which where I first heard him. But the leader albums on Atlantic and the work with Mann became my favourite

I find myself wishing my deceased younger sister a happy birthday every year, part of remembering all she brought to my life. I also mark the day she was so suddenly taken from us, coincidentally two days ago
