  5. If anyone's desperate to complete a collection and get a copy of Ronnell Bright's 'Bright's Spot,' Half.com just sent me a 'heads up' e-mail. Took awhile...I requested it about 18 months ago and have long since found one. The seller wants something like $40.
  6. Now listening to a sax-guitar duo on Windows media player and it doesn't show who it is?
  7. Doesn't strike me as the sort of contraption that you'd get just right the first time you set about trying to cobble one together. Lot's of tinkering required to get just the right fit, I'm sure. http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Underarm-Guards
  8. In the unofficial olympics of substandard tourist behavior, who currently holds the top spot? I often hear people remark 'Brits'.......but it's been the Aussies that I've seen engage in the seriously over-the-top action several times. I dunno. Guess that someone, somewhere must 'track' all of this sort of biz & buzz and post (unofficial) ratings online?
  9. It's hard to tell as he's not wearing a hat, Kelly always wore a hat, even indoors. ...well, there is that one cover photo on one of his lesser known dates. Kelly
  10. Post pics of 'em all at Hoffman Forum and ignite an honest to goodness deadwax gawkin', catalogue number crunchin' & spewin' geek-a-thon of a circle jerk?
  11. Oh no.....next he's going to pull out the Ball jars full of the pickled beets & other good stuff that Aunt Gladdy made for him back in '82.
  12. Everything's normal now ...but the voltage spikes at least ten times a day -- ten times that I'm in the vicinity and able to hear it 'click'. I'd like to know how many spikes there are in an average 24-hr period around here? That damn Pentagon! What are those power suckers doing over there??
  13. Let's see some pics. Did you bring back a couple of nice 'Evil Eyes' from Turkey?
  14. Yes, 'attitude' is extremely important.....in fact, it's everything.
  15. Best of luck to you, Bruce...and remember --- make sure to be your own case manager throughout the process.
  16. Honestly? Sounds kinda nutso.....so I want you to meet me in Georgetown next weekend and we'll have you hike those steps from 'The Exorcist' a couple of times and then see what you have to say.
  17. Dan, If available, I'll take these titles: Jimmy Cobb's Mob, Only For The Pure of Heart (Fable) $7 Jimmy Cobb's Mob, Cobb's Groove (Fantasy) $7 Kenny Dorham, Scandia Story (Steeplechase) two discs, $12
  18. They already ran the focus groups in June and the conclusion was that John should ditch the originally planned costume in favor of the hat. Thankfully, he listened.
  19. Just had a glass of some Dole fruit combo banana/pineapple juice mixed with selzer water, which was quite refreshing. Now that we've got the fruit Vitamin C thing out of the way, I'm going to pour a Schneider Weisse.
  20. Geez, I thought that was an outstanding offer......picky, picky, picky Mainers. Okay, final offer -- for your Miles Stockholm set, you get my favorite Voting Rights Counselor shirt plus two excellent beer coasters! Allen, that shirt's a must have. Ya never know when you might need it to slip into a polling place or two (say, West Palm Beach??) to help the kindly old folks with their chads...... well, you know what I'm sayin'! Hee, hee..
  21. Well, Hell...since I'm the german beer T-Shirt Nazi, maybe we can do a deal? How about a Spaten Pils, a Stiegl Brau (really Austrian, but who's gonna know?? ) and a Schwarzwald Maedle (a great shirt for ladies!!!!) plus this insanely funny New Yorker mag for a Miles in Stockholm (Dragon) set?
