  1. The sad thing is that you screwed up the 'Venetian glass comes from which city?' question!!
  2. 25...and screwed up on Mitsubishi and Tupac....and I swear that the 'how many minutes in a day?' one didn't pop up ...unless of course I'm half blind ...so I'm taking a 26!!! ..and am taking a gimme putt on the course tomorrow as well.
  3. I hope that Hoffman & Joe post a major heads-up!!warning about the squeaks in 'Candy' before it's released or those MM phone lines will be jammed with frantic callers complaining about weird defective squeaking sounds.
  4. Yes, it is. I actually like the squeak...would miss not hearing it on my favorite Morgan date.
  5. It's great to have out in the boat, usually with a slight twist of bobber. The crawfish go wild for the stuff as well!!!
  6. That's good to hear. Just checked UPS tracking ...... the pair left Chicago on Wednesday.
  7. That's what I was thinking....time flies! If Todd & the parrot were still around, he'd surely wish you all the best, Ed (as do I).
  8. Oh, right.....forgot about that one. Between that plus the MFSL....the RVG edition...the JPN SACD...JRVG and others, 'Blue Train' must have the edge.
  9. Alot of them listen extra hard for the slightest tick or the -- as one guy put it, "somewhat quiet fart sound" --- and are quick to rush back to the threads to complain/share notes about whatever the malfunction of the day is. All in all, I can't say that that's a bad thing because it sure helped steer me waaaaaay clear of the AP releases. Only plunking down cash for MM.
  10. If Soul Station is reading this....no, I still haven't cracked open the Stan Mosaic box. I side with Andy on the Mintons.
  11. I wonder if KoB ultimately trumps 'Blue Train' on the reissue treadmill? Another version (Super High Quality Material) is due out in Japan in Sept. TOCJ 90024 (HQ CD) Coltrane,John(ts) Blue Train 2600 Yen
  12. Probably 'Olean Visit' from Jaki Byard's 'On the Spot.' Damn that's a great swinger!
  13. I sure do hope that, in the not too distant future, he makes the decision to re-issue
  14. Is this ths LP that has "MK-ULTRA, Party All The Time" on it?
  15. ......can you add this guy in as well? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niJoEpQmr6I
  16. The manufacturer won't ship to the Outer limits of Fringedom...so you're screwed.
  17. Yes, he was a sideman on a smattering of Gordon, Green & Mclean dates in '62 (probably a few others as well).
  18. I agree....gotta love Tommy Turrentine too. I purchase very few lps these days, but that's one of the Hoffman 45-rpm vinyl jobbers I'm definitely going to pick up.
  19. Ditched costume and headed north to Ontario...seems to be having a good time.
