  1. Anyone know if '2 Franks Please!' Savoy (2249?) was ever released on vinyl in Japan?
  2. My pleasure! Shipping to WI and Germany on Mon. (tjobbe, shoot me a quick pm w/address please)
  3. I too agree that they'll likely get a slap on the wrist with a feather and that it would take a certain degree of 'hounding' to pry these loose. If it was actually something I cared deeply about, I'd be happy to lock horns and do the whole 'David & Goliath' thing...but not over some cds (assuming of course that they don't steal my $203). As far as I'm concerned, these rock heads aren't worth breaking my pick on so I'm happy to fire off a few notes and let a well-timed barrage of 15-20 negative feedback comments speak for itself. I've got two loaded barrels in this game. B-)
  4. Kevin can redeem himself by working on MC to reissue 'The Rajah'. B-)
  5. up (or down, whatever ...) I'd be real interested in these ones if you're still offering? Jimmy Smith - Cool Blues Donald Byrd - Slow Drag ** I'll pony up a couple of Verve discs: Archie Shepp & Roswell Rudd 'Live in New York' Wayne Shorter 'Alegria' (going to tjobbe) Who'd like them? EDIT: I also have Ralph Towner's 'Solstice' (ECM) w/Garbarek, Weber & Christensen to toss into the freebie pile. This one has some scuffs but plays perfect. (going to Pete)
  6. I received one for both the Brownie & Evans box. What a $@# outrage! They're going to take the position that a $99 'buy-it-now' on a Brownie box is somehow a wild error???
  7. If it's an open letter to BN you want, just go over to the BN Europe board and post away. I'm sure they're checking in over there on a daily basis.
  8. If mine arrives w/o rust, I'll just put it in some sort of clear plastic pouch along with one of these desiccant jobbers that I've got lying around. They're cheap, easy to use & work quite well.
  9. Tell you another thing you'll never see -- 29 discs shipped for $3.99.
  10. I was watching the screen for a couple of minutes when my 9-year-old wandered in to say 'goodnite'. When she turned to leave I clicked refresh and suddenly the Evans and Brownie were both sitting there -- and I nailed 'em both. I then went into the kids room to tell the eldest that she'd brought good luck....and after babbling on about 'refresh', 'box sets' 'Evans' and 'buy it now' for 15 seconds she looked over and said: 'Dad, we don't even know what you're talking about" Brad, see what happens when you don't listen to the little 'Buy or Die' man? He puts a hex on you.
  11. Ya gotta love the first two listings for Wes Montgomery in Paris
  12. Looks like BN has produced a boatload of these things over the years. BN covers As an aside....it's nice the way they went the extra mile and drew up a 2nd censored version for the Marisa Monte LP (p. 7) for sales to Utah.
  13. There's a copy on ebay right now for another 12 hours (not mine). Ah yes, looks like Mr. James H. Thanks Brad.
  14. JAZZ IMPRESSIONS OF FORK MUSIC / HAROLD LAND IMPERIAL LP 9247 CARMELL JONES (tp) HAROLD LAND (ts) JOHN HOUSTON (p) JIM BOND (b) MEL LEE (ds) 1961 or 1962 時々クズ盤と同じエサ箱で見かける本作は本当にクズ盤なのか? タイトルが
  15. I saw this miniature teddy bear-filled toilet seat cover in an Austrian shop window in Nov. Hell, if they'll do that...you know that somewhere in Vienna, there's a small outfit just waiting to market your sticker seat! Can't believe I took a pic of a toilet seat cover.
  16. I bet Dave Poskonka didn't pull that murmering crap on 'ol Ed!
  17. I forwarded a pic to Christo........ no doubt he'll want to wrap it.
