    I’m a big fan of hers and have her complete Bruckner SACD series w/the Hamburg Philharmonic. She pinch hit for an ailing Christoph Eschenbach a few months ago here in DC and knocked it (Brahms No. 2) out of the park.

    I just ordered all of the new Josef Krips Beethoven sacds (Everest/King). Hopefully a serious sonic improvement over the ‘Tin Can’ Beethoven set.

    I agree. Btw, near the end of season 3 (episode 7)…….. scene with the duct tape over the mouth. Was that some oxygen activated poison? Never seen anything like that before. Ghastly stuff.
