Two of Tom Wilson's Transition recordings have never been released on LP (or CD): TRLP-8 "Pepper Adams-Curtis Fuller" and TRLP-18 "Jay Migliori". A song from each was released on the Transition Sampler (TRLP-30)- "Train's Strain" from TRLP-8 and "Something's Gotta Give" from TRLP-18. Perhaps the complete tapes exist in an archive that someday may come to light .

Some terrific Bunny Berigan 1931-1936 recordings was released on CD by the International Association of Jazz Record Collectors (IAJRC) CD-1013.

Both TRLP-8 and TRLP-18 have never been released.

I would not put the sleeves with the records back into the album cover. Doing this causes wear on the cover edges eventually resulting in split edges.

There are 4 Jam Session LPs (#100 thru 103). They all contain West Coast Jazz music from the 1950's. If you are interested in more information PM me.

Fresh Sound Records released a CD (CD-157) that included the 7 tracks from Wardell Gray Xanadu-146 LP plus 2 extra from the session- "Keen And Peachy" and "Lady Bird". The 2 tracks totaling 18 minutes were too long to fit onto an LP. These 2 tracks are on the Jam Session LP (JS-101).

Legacy Records LP MK1000. Recorded in Louisville, Ky 1958. The label is not the Columbia/Sony label but another obscure label. Artists are Don Murray, Dave Klingman and Gene Klingman.

Dave Brubeck on Fantasy. Also with Miles also helped Columbia.

William Donati played piano and harpsichord on 3 Tampa label LPs in the mid-1950's. I have discographical information about the 3 LPs but need biographical information about him. Information such as birth and death dates, locations, career, other music, etc.

Another thought: if you have a number of Japanese import CDs they can be listed on eBay individually or as a lot. They do sell. These CDs are valuable, originally imported from Japan and costing $25 and up. These CDs are packaged in a mini-LP envelope (not jewel cases). The most valuable are the ones with an obi.

Another thought: If you live in or near a large city you might try selling your whole collection at a record show. Record shows are held several times a year and now feature CDs in addition to LPs. Record show organizers rent tables where you can display your collection. This is a pretty good way to sell individual CDs as long as the price is good- around $5. Attending a record show is also a good way to meet CD/LP dealers, some who might be interested in buying a large collection for the right price.

Here is an idea: List the CDs on a spread-sheet, sortable by Artist or Title or Label. Do not bother listing CDRs as they are not worth anything. Send the spread-sheet via email to big CD sellers like Amoeba and see if they want to buy the whole lot or significant portions. I don't think grading is important since CDs stay in good shape, not like LPs that deteriorate over time. The CDs must be in jewel cases and have all front and back matter. I do agree that selling individual CDs online is very unsatisfying. One eBay possibility is if you have a large number of CDs by a particular artist is to list them as a lot and hope that a collector buys them.

I just acquired the rare Demano LP (FLP-1) that I was looking to trade for. Now I have the best possible outcome- I own both the LP and the 45. Thank you all for looking. Looking to trade this rare Freeway label 45rpm record for Freeway label LP FLP-1 titled "Listen to The Hank Demano Quartet". The songs on this 45 record are "Yesterday" and "Shadow of Your Smile". Neither song is on the three released Freeway 33rpm LPs (including FLP-1) or the Fresh Sound Records (FSR-910) CD reissue of FRS-500 and FLP-555. The 45 record (FR-656) plays perfectly with no noise or skips. A digital trade would work.

Yes- FR-656 is distinct from SFR-656. As far as I can tell the 2 songs (Yesterday and The Shadow of Your Smile) are not on any Freeway LP.
