you are correct on some points and not correct on others. the jack wilson was not released at the same time as "the flip." but, "passing ships," "fuschia swing song," "bossa nova bacchanal," and "mother ship" were all released on the same day as "the flip" (10/7/03) and all of those titles are available on yourmusic.com. i stand by my original statement that it was available and for some reason is not available now.

just another chance to spend hard earned cash again. don't forget lost highway just rereleased elvis costello's "the delivery man" with a bonus disc. btw - the bonus disc includes material that was issued last year on 10" vinyl for collectors only that was never supposed to be released on cd. now they've gotten both the casual buyer and the collector.

there's a duke ellington complete rca centennial edition 24 cd box on ebay right now with a buy it now price of $200. if you don't have it - that's a good deal. here's the item number - 4706226824

this line cracks me up. i suppose they are assuming that all 15 would've sold for the corrected price of $250. i don't see that happening. i would love to know what the actual cost of the set is. it sounds like it might work out for everyone who has purchased and paid for the item, and that's a good thing.

i can understand universal not listing any new sets at that price, but for any transaction that was completed including payment, they are going to be hard pressed not to follow through. they should have noticed their error 15 sets ago. as for the brownie set, $99.99 is not the greatest price in the world, i don't understand their correction on that price.

if you are just looking for that song, "the look of love," it is also available on the collection "sinatra sings the songs of van heusen and cahn." that cd is available on both half and amazon.

actually, this year the talking heads box won the award for packaging. that is the worst box set i have seen. not only is the shape horrible, but there is a drawing inside of a young boy with his penis cut off.

i purchased by tal set on half last week from caimen. it came today, factory sealed and in excellent condition. i couldn't be happier.

my wife always orders a mosaic for me for christmas or my birthday. one of the first sets she ordered was out of the catalog with louis armstrong on the cover. when she spoke with mosaic he asked her, "is it the catalog with louis armstrong on the cover?" her response, "i don't know it's some guy in a white jacket?" she had no clue how hilarious this must have been on the other end. now whenever louis is playing i wil ask her, "do you know who this is?" she always say, "is it the guy in the white jacket?" it's a little inside joke we have. she'll never be into jazz, but i think i'll keep her.
