I also have a LaCie, which is about 12 years old, that worked the last time I took it out of the drawer. I have no idea who the manufacturer is though. I have a stack of Hitachi, Maxtor, Samsung, Western Digital storage.

Six out of the seven external hard drives that I have owned have failed. Manufacturer, or brand of enclosure, doesn't seem to be a factor. Does anyone have any advice on hot swappable bays?

I really don't know. I drive most of the day, and even stream to my phone at my desk on occasion (no wifi). ATT sends me a text message to let me know I'm 60% to my monthly allotted data. I usually receive that message about four days before end of cycle.

I have been streaming Spotify Premium over the air for over two (three?) years now. At first on an unlimited data plan, then a shared 10GB data plan. I have never gone above 8GB in any given month, and that includes streaming XM radio, a data hog. At home I listen to CD, LP, and some Spotify etc over wifi.

I'd go so far as to say this album makes me wish KD made an OTL session in an alternate universe.

Well, I'm here to say that I LOVE KD on this music. I have never imagined another trumpet on this date, and I have never made a parallel to OTL. Extremely different music from my perspective, outside of Tony Williams and Richard Davis in spots. Y'all inspired me to take another listen though.
