  1. Completely agree... but I might grab this one in spite of her singing.
  2. I ordered a set, online last week and haven't heard back yet. Well said sir.
  3. Couldn't find anything about the length of the Bluray but here's the track/chapter info translated.... http://www.musicrecords.cz/catalogue/hudba/corea-chick/musician-blu-ray-brd-3cd/?icid=89 BRD: Full length Documentary A film as produced and retrospective of Amazing Chick's career, his life, and his musical collaborators. 4. I've been seeing this on various sites but had a hard time finding any info. I wasn't clear if this was another compilation or something else. Happily it looks like this is a new release. As many issues as I have with Scientology, I do love Chick Corea. There appears to be both a 3CD edition as well as 3CD/Blu-ray edition. I'm inclined to get the 4cd set even if I don't have a Bluray player (yet:). http://www.elusivedisc.com/Chick-Corea-The-Musician-Live-at-the-Blue-Note-2011-Blu-Ray-Disc/productinfo/CONBR00019/ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XC392DJ/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
  5. I didn't know this. As a Bostonian for 25 years, Steve's presence in the jazz scene was well known and appreciated. RIP. I never knew him but I often saw him at various local shows and Newport. A big loss for the Boston jazz community.
  6. Do we have any ordering/release/online info? Found one... never mind... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XS1K96S?tag=amz-mkt-opr-us-20&ascsubtag=1ba00-01000-org00-mac00-other-nomod-us000-pcomp-feature-scomp-wm-4
  7. I concur especially on #1....
  8. I have the set. I did through PledgeMusic and there were a lot of updates. There was a lot of care put into this. With 3Cds and 2 DVDs of music and the packaging, to me it's worth it and I haven't even started listening to it yet. :). I caught Ornette once, at the Newport Jazz Festival.
  9. I completely concur. I've got to go back to this one...
  10. Thanks. This I'll pass on this one.
  11. Very interesting.. What does RadioLand mean? Unreleased live sets? Order info?
  12. So it sounds like we don't know if there will ever (much less soon) be a CD release. Is that right?
  13. Anybody got any more info on this Ella JATP release?
  14. I'd love to get your thoughts and opinions about the topic. Thanks.
  15. I'm so sorry KB. I think we got two feet. Finally dug out though... Go easy on the Aleve as we all have back pain from this storm.
  16. Thanks Ed. Good luck and stay safe. We're going to get the same two storms later in the week also. I'm going back out in a few minutes. At least it friggin stopped snowing.
  17. I'm done for the night but we're still not dug out yet. They're saying another few inches overnight..
  18. Shit. I'm tired of shoveling. We've got to be at least 2 feet plus high winds and it's friggin cold....
  19. Well said. I love Karrin. Have seen her 3-5 times. Extremely underrated. I think my favorite CD of hers is Footprints.
  20. I'll be there. It looks great. Looking forward to two sets of Hiromi
  21. Excellent. I wonder why/how Cuscuna is spliting it up into 2 6CD sets as opposed to one mammoth 12 CD set?
  22. This looks very promising. What was the "story" behind BeeHive records?
