A Lark Ascending Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 http://www.jazzscript.co.uk/books/harriott...ttrobertson.htm I must get round to this one on Coleridge Goode too: http://www.jazzscript.co.uk/books/goodecotterrell.htm Quote
ghost of miles Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 I'm very interested in reading this. I have only a couple of Harriott's albums (as well as Ken Vandermark's tribute to him) and am eager to learn more about the man & his music. Quote
BeBop Posted August 22, 2013 Report Posted August 22, 2013 I (apprehensively) bought the Harriott biography today, by mail from the UK. Anyone read this? Perhaps I was in search of a Harriott "fix", but almost all of his albums are too expensive. ;-) Quote
BeBop Posted August 22, 2013 Report Posted August 22, 2013 (edited) Searching around the Forum, it looks like sidewinder read it and liked it. And A Lark Ascending. Edited August 22, 2013 by BeBop Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted August 23, 2013 Author Report Posted August 23, 2013 (edited) Excellent book - I read it when it first came out. I suspect the version you have is the more recent, revised version which I believe has additional material. If I remember correctly I more or less read it in one sitting; it was that interesting. Older discussion on the book and Harriott here: Edited August 23, 2013 by A Lark Ascending Quote
