Just a heads-up if you want to pick up this CD at post-Christmas sales. I'm kind of surprised that neither of these gentlemen have been the subjects of an AOTW (at least as leaders). So now we'll get them both. Haven't heard this in a while, but I like it. Looking forward to giving it a spin or two.

The "My Funny Valentine" on here is out of control!

My current squeeze and I were cracking up over it just the other day (she's a jazz head), that and the bizarre liner notes by Barry J. Titus (which she still quotes randomly in the car).

Have a nice original LP of this and will give it another spin soon. I've always been fond of this date, both in its cool-but-unsettled sparseness and its occasional freakiness.

A wonderful choice. I recently pulled this CD off the shelf as I haven't heard it in quite some time. It has long been a favorite of mine. Will look forward to playing it soon.
