Just picked this up with the Borders' 25% coupon.

However, it's the GRP version. Before I open it, I had a couple of questions:

1. Do we know if there is an upgraded 20-bit version in the works (haven't checked jazzamatazz yet)?

2. Are there any known unissued tracks from this date? I'll check Mike's Art Davis discography in a minute.

3. How is the music? I heard this once and was indifferent. But it's got Dolphy and Booker Little, so I don't know. How much soloing does Little do?

That solves item 3, the one that is most easily solved.

For 2, I checked Mike's site, and there does not seem to be that much more known stuff, so this is not holding me back.

I'll wait a bit longer for an answer to 1.

i checked some international sites in japan and germany. both list the u.s. grp release as the only release currently available. that's a shame considering the reissue of lesser titles by universal in japan.
