EKE BBB Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Apart from list track I haven´t been able to get discographical information for this third JSP Django set, but I think the RCA/Bluebird "Djangology" release is included (dispersed) through discs 1 and 2. And I must check it, but some tracks of "Peche a la mouche vol.2" (1947-53) may be included here. Quote

LAL Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 This box set should greatly improve on the RCA/Bluebird reissues (even over the Black & White series). The following musicians recorded with Django on these Rome dates: Stephane Grappelli - Violin Carlo Recori - Bass Gianni Safred - Piano Aurelio de Carolis - Drums There's probably also a set of quintet recordings with Andre Ekyan (never heard of him) on the set.
