Offered for sale is a beautiful copy of the Ramones: The Sire Albums 1981-1989 7lp box set. Ramones: The Sire Albums 1981-1989 7 LP, Rhino, 2022 RSD 2022 Everything is in Mint condition (slipcase box, records, record sleeves). The slipcase box still has the original shrinkwrap around it, with hype sticker attached, but the shrinkwrap has been opened on its side edge to allow retrieval of records. Records played once. A latecomer to this news, but managed over the weekend to snag reasonably-priced center balcony seats for Patti Smith's Horses 50th-anniversary tour when it hits Chicago in November. There'll be at the Michigan Theater (majestic early-20th century movie palace) with the very same band that my partner and I saw in Royal Oak in 2019--Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty from the original 1970s group, longtime bassist Tony Shanahan, and Smith's son Jackson on second guitar. They're going to play Horses in its entirety. Crossing my fingers that everyone stays healthy! -

Offered for sale is a nice copy of the following Mosaic Stanley Turrentine box set: The Blue Note Stanley Turrentine Quintet/Sextet Studio Sessions 5 CD, Mosaic, 2002 Limited Edition of 5000 numbered copies (this is copy # 3065). Everything is in excellent condition - outer box, CDs, jewel cases, large booklet. There is just some very minor rubbing to about a 1/4" piece of the mid left side edge of the front cover paste-on photo. I had not even noticed that until now but wanted to mention any minor issue at all. It is a nice copy. $85 (+ $10 media mail shipping). U.S. shipping only. Payment by pay pal friends/family. I will pack this carefully (wrapped in bubble wrap), ship it in a sturdy box, and provide a postal tracking # after shipping.

I believe that these tapes were licensed to Resonance Records with the full cooperation of the Dorham and Hubbard Estates. He has other tapes but I'm not sure I can discuss that except that one could judge from these releases and the era they were recorded in that there are some other interesting things. These releases might be the cream of the crop though..... He provided the tapes for John Coltrane's Olatunji Concert previously.
