Best, ~Staci REVISIT CHRISTMASTIME Revisit Staci Griesbach's CHRISTMASTIME album, featuring four originals along with classic originals reimagined. Along with Griesbach just-released single "Be My Santa Tonight," "You and Me at Christmastime" brings that upbeat holiday, fun-filled spirit. Other originals that show a more emotional side of the Holiday Season include "Dreaming of Christmas with You" and "It's Just Not Christmas without You," which includes a guitar solo by Larry Koonse. "It's Raining on Christmas" is set in a 12/8 feel featuring Joe Bagg on organ pulling on the themes of struggles in the world and encouraging the rain to wipe the slate clean for a fresh start in the New Year. The album features LA-based top Jazz A-listers including Tamir Hendelman (piano), Larry Koonse (guitar), Kevin Axt (bass) and Jake Reed (drums). Also featured on a jazz reimagination of "Pretty Paper" is Rich Hinman on pedal steel, set in a jazz-forward context arranged by Matt Endahl. "Hard Candy Christmas," a Dolly Parton fan-favorite, features tenor saxophonist Rahsaan Barber, and arrangement and performance by Jeremy Siskind (piano) who also offers arranging and piano on "White Christmas" supporting Griesbach's wide vocal range on this Irving Berlin classic. Hendelman is featured on "Merry Christmas Darling" (a Carpenters' classic), where Griesbach showcases her lower and mid registers, as well as the up-tempo swinging rendition of "Santa Bring My Baby Back to Me" where Griesbach's love for the classic Elvis Christmas records shine through her sassy vocals. Griesbach's most recent single is "Be My Santa Tonight," a follow up to the CHRISTMASTIME album and is NOW AVAILABLE with a fresh, new catchy holiday hook.
